    Feedback: New Camera

    Hey everyone,

    I just picked up a Fujifilm Finepix S100fd, and I think I really like this camera....it offers a lot of adjustment, like a SLR, but its not a full SLR and is considerably smaller.




    Things I've noticed on AUTO mode:
    -great micro zoom mode
    -cool wide angle lens
    -over exposure and over saturated color under overcast light
    -X12 telephoto zoom but no image stabilization, requires a stand.

    ...other than that, this little thing is awesome!

    Below are some original pics, they have not been adjusted via Photoshop or any other editing software...enjoy and please offer any feedback.


    Using Super Micro mode:









    you'll see some over exposure and over saturation in the below two pictures.





    the wide angle lens captures quite a good angle. Fujinon 12x Optical zoom lens , F2.8(Wide) - F5.0(Telephoto)

    That first image is umm, pretty awesome man! Major props for the capture!
    Is that right out of the lens? Or, was there much PS/Post Production? Curious ..

    That shot should be in your portfolio, crazy great exposure and color!
    I don't do alotta abstracts, but I always appreciate a great composed and well done one when I see one.
    Just between you and me .. whud ya spend on the entire bundle?

      wow. very nice camera. the pictures are so sharp and fine with colors.

      so i'm guessing its a point&shoot if its not a full dslr?

        Yeah, that 1st pic was the 1st close up pic I took...fluke
        the camera was 249CAD, I still need to pick up a 16GB SDHC card (65CAD) and a good case for this thing.

        yeah, its a point&shoot, and perfectly suited to my liking. I don't need the SLR adjustment, not do it need the bulkiness and weight of the SLR's. The entire camera fits in my palm.

          looks good , colors aren't as flat as mot point and shoot cameras

            yeah, this camera captures color really well...there is a "chrome" photo mode and it looks like an acid trip....super saturated.
