The Official Canon DSLR Battery Thread

I can't find it, but I was readin the forum yesterday and someone had asked about Canon batteries.
    The website is: www.Sterlingtek.com

They have prices that are very affordable .. you know, for those starving college artists.
They're shipping is also quite amazing, and they have a great reputation.

Anyone else who has used them, please feel free to add your input.

Ive heard of them but havent bought a spare since I already got two for my bg. There are praises for them on photography-on-the.net forums.

the batteries are cheap because they arent oem they are third party. i have 3 batteries 2 of which are oem canon and the other a third party. the third party battery is ok its the same as the oem battery but sometiems i do feel like they drain a bit faster.

That is usually the case but I have both of my Canons and they do last quite a while. Thats all I need though from what I have noticed plenty too.

Ive heard if you wanna go third party for the battery grip opteka is the way to go. It basically looks like the Canon one just without the Canon logo on it. And its about the same from what people say.

From what I've heard, it is the same battery grip .. just a factory second and is sold as
an aftermarket item .. they do the same thing with golf clubs .. and that I know for a fact.

The sterlingtek batteries work great in my BG-E2 .. come to think of it,
I can't tell the difference when I have two sterlingtek's or two OEM ..
or, one OEM and one sterlingtek .. they're great batteries .. used um for years!

i've bought two batteries from sterlingtek for my BG-E1. They're great and long lasting, no complaints on my end. I highly recommend their third party batteries.
