no problem. this the same setup as my f22b but with a usdm f22a6 shortblock. the f22b dohc bottom end needs to be re-ringed so i grabbed my old f22a6 block. only difference is about 1 full point in compression and i think the f22b dohc crank is slightly better balanced. it made the same whp but roughly 8wtq less peak and about 3-4wtq less throughout the rev range. peak power was also moved up about 100-150rpm.

God, I love the powerband of that cam. So smooth and makes great torque.

Your specs is pretty close to a stage 3 cam, isn't?

How was the idle with the cam?

It sure looks tasty, i already got pretty desirable torque delivery, and it's only an A6 cam, pretty sure i pushed it to its limit. It would be interesting to see how far i can push the A3 cam.

Here you can see Tuned A6 cam (With boltons and polished head, fuel cut set to 7100rpm, LC set to 3500rpm) vs A3 Cam untuned (With bolt ons and no porting)

I find it interesting that your torque curve is pretty consistent from 2500rpm to 7000rpm, i'm guessing that opening the valves a bit earlier allows for this? Also, it looks like you removed your IABV's, which i haven't, and i think that is what causing the huge bump in torque around 3800rpm till 5200rpm, i still haven't decided whether to delete or keep the IABV's, more testing is needed in this area.

Also note how i lost some power @ low rpm and how it builds up. There is no way thats a Bisi cam. The A3 Cam has longer duration.

Its my custom spec cam. I may be selling it along with my ported head with bisi valve springs, rocker spacers, steel retainers, ported f22a6/f22b dohc intake manifold and bisi header as a package deal.

Sounds like a package i would buy had i not lived in Denmark an already done most of the stuff except porting the I.M and the Bisi header. I'm planning on getting a 4-2-1 H header, and weld it to the DC Sports flange i have.

Maybe I should have used your custom cam instead of the 148e+3. Mine drops off pretty quickly after 6500, but I didn't do any port work

the 148e+3 is a great cam especially for a regrind. you can beat the price. i honestly need to get my butt in gear and go spend some money on a fully ported head and oversize valves. the f22a head is hurting bad on valve sizing. just look at stock valve size on modern honda engines. the port geometry isnt bad on the f22a it just need more breathing room, lol.

im putting this on here for future reference. i had someone apparently trying to sell parts under my name and get the money for it. my fiance and i believe it to be my ex wife and her boyfriend. if i dont talk to you directly and if its not posted in the forsale thread then its not me. on that note, another power package will be up for sale soon. i have to finish some port work on the header and weld on the collector and ill have it posted.

3" SRI with velocity stack and filter
                  ported F22B/H22 upper intake
M2 header with porting, custom secondaries and vibrant 2-1 2.5" collector
ported f22a6 head with new valve seals, multi-angle valve job and
                  custom reground cam

should easily make 170whp to 180whp~ with supporting mods on a healthy engine and proper tune. if you have hondata or crome gold i can sell you a base map for an additional price.

hopefully i can get my but in gear and finish porting this ebay header and weld on the vibrant collector.

Did you fully gut the lower plenum or keep the divided runners? Got a shot of the inside?

That IM came out beautiful. When I ported my runners I tried to replicated the OEM design. While sliding my fingers out of the runners, I noticed that at the end it sort of ramps upwards. Kinda like a kick up. When I went to open up the ports, I recreated that ramp up. I'm thinking it helps with atomization.

Quick question for you, when you modify IM's do you have a prefrence of the F22A6 vs the H23 runners?

I do the same thing. Its designed to match the head port geometry. I personally like the h23 lower. It has slightly better port angle and slightly longer runners which the f22a in close to stock form is best. With camshaft changes the f22a6 lower is a little better but I doubt by alot.

Cool, thanks! Getting ideas on what may be the best for my F23 manifold since it can be ported to a similar design. Plenum volume is a little smaller, but it's what I've got to work with!
