Well in the eg on a b16 trans my motor made 261whp and he made three successful passes running high 11's and on the fourth he 1-2-1'd it and she is no more. As far as my current f23 he came and picked it up yesterday for $600 and is finishing it up himself to save him some money. So as of now I'm out of spare parts. All I have currently is the f22b bottom end, stock pt3 head milled .020", bisimoto header, custom web cam, aem intake, h23vtec 64mm tb and skunk2 intake manifold back on it. Its probably in the 180whp range. It runs well so I'm done for a little while. It ran 14.9's the other day with a full tank so I'd put it in the moderately quick category.

Its always a shame when you put so much time and effort into something and watch it get destroyed

Are you kidding me? This was the guy you sold the motor to just over two weeks ago? I remember reading a post awhile back about $30,000 invested. I know that's the way this stuff goes, but man! I hope someone took some videos of those first three runs.

His dream build would be a $30,000 investment. I think he sold the motor to his friend for i think i read somewhere like 3k. I still have to agree on the hoping someone got a video of those runs. Lol

I don't know but ill ask. Only cam he has is on his phone so its not likely. He is starting to let his mouth overload his ass as of recently so he probably won't get my help much longer on putting it back together. I may be easing off on building engines and what not for a while. I had an accident at work the other day and had to have surgery on my right wrist and it sucks because I'm right handed. My thumb, index and middle finger are fine but my ring and pinkie feel like they're asleep.

I'm sorry to hear about the accident man. I hope you get better soon. And I hope you get back in the building game soon as well. You're awesome and I love every video you've put up with your CB. Good luck.

Thanks. Here's one of my last ones. It is with my current setup.

Oh gosh! I was wondering why you had not posted in a few days. I hope you get control and feeling back in your ring finger and pinky. You'll be back soon enough. You've always bounced back after hard times. I can't wait to see testing on the Euro R IM and Hypertech 4-2-1 replica Header.

Hope you have a speedy recovery
I recently got some s-techs, figured if it can handle 250whp..

my s-techs did better than an oem spring would but I don't think they handled the 250whp all that well. It squatted real bad and just unloaded the tires. it felt like there was a 135 series tire on the front not a 205. if you ever end up above 200whp with anything above 150wtq you will see what I mean.

yeah I just read where you posted you're going to get stiffer coilovers for the back. When you get the traction bar that should help keep the front down.

I'm maybe at 120hp now. For my first serious performance upgrade, I think I can pull something like this off:

                              power

it currently does 37mph on the 7.4v LiPo 2S pack but will run 56mph on the 11.1v LiPo 3S pack with the current 10.17 FD. later i plan to get a 20.4FD set and bump up to the dynamite 6800Kv motor & ESC. this on the 11.1v LiPo pack would run 63mph with the stock 15.3 FD and 85mph+ on slicks with the 10.17 FD that is in it now. needless to say it's cheaper to modify, harder to break, and on monday if it dont run im still going to have a ride to work, lol.
