well i milled the head one last time and im not comfortable with it but it's what he wanted. it it now .060" off the head putting it at almost 10.9:1, when i clayed it it doesnt push through with no headasket but i still just dont like the head being cut that much. the new cam specs are .440"/.425" 238*/250* on a hardweld. it essentially moved the powerband up 1000rpms, it lost alot of power down low to gain it up top. i dont recommend this setup for anything except a drag car and i dont know how long it'll live but here it is.
i will be pulling it tonight after work and going back to the f22 setup with the custom web cam and unported head.

Its all in whether or not you want your car to be something that takes you from point "A" to point "B", or if you want it to be something that goes really fast.
You do realize that there are many cars that are both fast and reliable? The CB7 can be both, if built and maintained properly.

Here's what's the scariest thing about jdm92accorn's F to me: it's still running pretty damn low compression. I think he could break through 250whp with a point or so of compression. 93 is easy to get in NC too, it's a huge racing state.

Compression doesn't matter as much with displacement. In strokers it matters less due to more dwell time. Honestly if I ever manage to afford it I plan to go 89x100mm for my street build, this will allow me to keep compression and revs some what low. I think I can make the same power at a lower rpm and produce more torque down low with the stroker setup.

i cant get over how well the f22 runs compared to the other motors. the f23 setups had lots of power but they always seemed inconsistent which makes you feel like they're unhealthy. they never came apart or left me stranded but it just felt not right. the f22 just feels more consistent. i think with the f23 the oil temps get higher faster over the f22. idk, i'm sure i'll be back to building another one soon.
