So your full weight was 2700lbs? How much fuel? How much do you weigh? Running a 14 flat with an F22 and F/trans is amazing.

Total weight with 1/2 tank was 2840ish and I have a 92-96 prelude Si trans. M2S4 = H23 non-vtec usdm trans. There's a bit of a drop going from 1st to 2nd but when she hits 3rd she's good to go. The open diff and lack of slicks is all that is keeping me from 13's. Well other than the recent clutch slippage problem.

Those are some pretty good times! 9 flat is good for the 1/8 mile..

Good job on your build so far!

We I'm finally considering a turbo build. My light weight dx coupe will be a all motor build but my dd might just end up on boost. Ill probably go to a f20b and do a forged internals with skunk2 pro1s and a precision 67mm .63a/r turbo with a BRMS tubular manifold and 44mm tial wastegate and go for a reliable 500whp. It should pull low 11's high 10's on slicks. Ill probably daily it on 300whp.

Haha, the isnt the first time I have heard of someone already anticipating on spending their tax return check way before it's even time for taxes. It's interesting on how the money factor limits the progress of our builds. But if it easy, it wouldn't be worth doing.

It's probably going to be next summer before I can put any more money into mine. Last year of college so I took a break from work to make sure all goes well. SO I just have to sit on my computer and oogle at your builds.

Lol, all year I save, scrounge and budget every penny for my family so they're provided for. I work 50+hrs a week and do side jobs as much as possible and save the money so that I can have the tax check at the beginning of the next year. All this cause bro, when you got 4 mouths to feed not including your own and momma goes to school, new toys throughout the year are rarely gonna happen. But I do have the joy of all three of my kids love my cb and my girl even helps turn wrenches on it from time to time. It is nice that this is the first time I might get to finally have 80% of the check for the car. Hmm, how to spend $8k.......

yess sir, lol. i got something new im looking into now for my suspension. my dd is the corner car and my dx is the straight line car so i might be swapping all my new suspension arms over to the drag car and put megan racing rear lower control and toe arms and make a set of custom front tubular upper control arms and possibly lower control arms along with a set of esp traction bars. after finishing up body work i'll move on to a set of k&w variant2 coilovers with esp 3pt front and 2pt rear strut bars. lastly ill put in my built T2W4 transmission, do my disc brake upgrade while changing to 5lug. then the dd will be completely ready for what ever powerplant my heart desires. it sounds crazy but that will probably be the whole $8k. it wont seem like it but that will be a drastic change. the car will handle ten folds better, stop better and finally have traction. that coupled with the 4.64FD should push the car to mid to high 13's. makes me wonder who holds the record for the fastest sohc naturally aspirated F-series CB7.

Well Bisimoto hold the NA record and that motor happened to be a F22 but it was in an insight. As for CB's I'm not sure.
