    The OEM mounts have open areas at the top and bottom. I'm not opening the window weld vs urethane debate. I'm suggesting attempting to make a mount similar to OEM with the open areas. Just using a harder urethane; window weld whatever.

      this actually doesnt sound like a bad idea, i may try it in the future. all i know is for now im just going to stay away from the track and granny shift a little more, lol.

          I had a stock fuel pump at 171whp with no starvation issues at all.

            When I figure out how to do it. I will let you know. I need something to keep the area from filling up. I'm thinking of using some casting tape from work, but I don't know how I would get it out.

            Do wheels rub or do you have any trouble with them?

                  yeah man, thanks for the support! without you I would've probably never got as far along as I did in the past 2 months in planning. I was able to grab up all the items I wanted for my build and now its just a matter of spending the money on the rebuild in winter, breaking in the motor and trans, and then installing the cam and springs over summer and tuning.

                    I have a question for you. Is that battery the stock size and is it supposed to be facing vertically? Mine on my wagon is humongo and faces horizonally.

                        obviously not. its an aftermarket odyssey battery. he made his own battery tie down/bracket so it could sit like that.

                                14.03's, I'm getting closer. Now its time for a new clutch, lol. After this run it consistently got slower due to clutch slip.
