I was searching around the forum for the swap and someone mentioned you would need the H22 Automatic Transmission Mount if you are going from F22 Transmission to the H22. Is this true?
Also, any MP1A, regardless of whether it came from an OBD1 or OBD2 motor would work? concerned about the sensors and whatnot.
if it's a direct replacement, would I be able to run my current accord axles then?Last edited by P5ylance; 09-19-2013, 04:16 PM.

If it's anything like a the LSD H22 manual swap, you can remove the stud that's doesn't line up, tap threads into the untapped hole in the casing and re-install the stud there. Then you can use the F22 trans mount.

I've seen you mention RDX injected a couple of times because of their spray patern. I just picked up a new fuel rail and pressure regulator and mentioned picking up a set to a friend and he said there would be some issues. Our CB 'a have a resistor/amplifier box that supports the fuel injectors. The RDX or any other Honda for that matter don't use one. The injectors are completely supported directly from the ECU. How did you plan on addressing this obstacle. I know pickin up a AEM EMS would straighten things out but I didn't pan on pickng OE of those up until I do my E85 build.

Yah I think its safe to assume it's also time to add 15% to the throttle body size for race duty(√(((154.2)×(4)×(3.819)×(6,900)×((3.386)^(2))) ÷67,547))
×(1.15)=60.4mm. 60.4 × 115%= 69.5mm. So maybe ill do a 70mm TB and a 3" exhaust for now. I might even try a e85/toluene tune which should be good for a 5% increase in power. 190 × 105% = 199.5 + 70mm TB + 3" exhaust = definitely over 200wheel, lol.

I'm seeing this but I don't believe it. I am a huge fan of the F series. I like the H for bang for you $ but doing all that with a F is so much more fun. I applaud your hard work in leading the way for people like me.

why it read so high?
I'm definitely inspired by your build! Carlos told me some details about the F22a motor and its got me liking F over H even more, even though price point for H is close... But i've been minimizing my costs by waiting for deals to come to me so its actually not been that bad price-wise. i'll have a fully rebuilt motor AND transmission for the price it will cost to pick up an H engine/transmission (which would still be used) and all accompanying parts, maybe even slightly cheaper! Thanks for all you and carlo's help

It makes me sad that my H has about the same HP and less TQ at the crank than yours does at the wheels. I bet if feels good though. Nicely done!'93 H22A 5SPD SE - MRT - DIY-Turbo Sizing
