No fucking way; That shit is amazing.

I've kept my stock motor mounts just to keep vibration down and driving comfort, but I've always known it would be at a price. Was kinda counting on the esp traction bar and torque mount to pick up some of the slack but your experience has got me thinking about some motor mounts now, along with a stage 1 clutch.

Awesome progress though, you truly are one of my biggest inspirations for continuing my build.

I just hope people will continue to learn from what I've had success and failures and determine what's best for their build. I really think with the alternator fixed and some head work I could hit mid 190's with a stock bottom end.

You have an esp traction bar with the front torque mount right?

No but hopefully it will be my next step along with some f&f coilovers and possibly a retune since my alternator is working now, lol.

oh my god your car is amazing. you and carlos! I wish I had the guts to build a motor like you guys, but i'm so wimpy when it comes to smog and cops and all that shit!

I'm planning on getting an OEM rebuild on my motor and tranny, but have my friends shop beef up my transmission to be stronger and faster.

Just put some displacement on it. Keep everything else the same.

                  1st pass 15.032 @ 96mph, real bad 60ft
                  2nd pass 14.680 @ 95mph, 2.612 60ft, not much better
3rd pass broke my new motor mount and decided to go home, lol.

If I can get my 60ft down to atleast a 2.1-2.2 I think I can get a 14.3 out of it. If I had the m2a4 with the mfactory lsd and 4.64 final drive with some slicks I might be able to pull off a 14.0 or with some perfect weather, a 13.999, lol.

Is this the muffler? I'm looking for another dual-tip to replace my Magnaflow dual tip.

That's the one, love the way it sounds. Im a lot happier with my xforce muffler though, when its open its deep and throaty and when its shut its quiter than a new civic si. Also I might be trying some twm's if finances allow it. The kinslers might be better but they cost 3k and it needs a vacuum accumulator($100), a remote mount fpr ($200), custom an fittings and fuel line ($200-300) and the throttles need to be synced. But the twm's are fine for what I want in my dd and for $1700 they come with a regulator, they're already synced, they have a built-in accumulator with provisions for honda map sensors and brake boosters and with two simple fittings I can run my oem fuel lines. Plus I think 50mm is plenty for my low revving f23 build, hell peak power is at roughly 6500rpm and other than first gear at the track, the highest I shift is 6800rpm. Here's some pics of the twm's and something I've been working on in my spare time.
