Lol, thanks. As long as you keep inspiring me with how clean your car is hopefully I can inspire you to do a little more engine work, lol. I've actually been thinking about putting together f series swaps for people. I've got a few guys locally that want a nice sleeper f-series sleeper setup. This is what I've built for one of them.
    F22A6 head/F23A1 bottom end
    1 layer head gasket
    Delta 272 regrind
    Gasket match the exhaust ports
Modded oem airbox with k&n filter
H23 intake manifold with S2K throttle body
    F22a4 header with modded collector
Cheap 2.5" piping kit ($125 roughly)
    Chrysler pacifica muffler
    Chipped p06 on neptune
    M2Y4 trans

Its in a 94 prelude. It does pretty well he made 171whp, 173wtq on a dynojet 248c. The best part is his brother has a 94 vtec with dc header, aem cai and greddy exhaust. He ran his brother in the 1/4 and beat him with a bone stock looking single slammer. His brother didnt even know we did anything to it. You shouldve seen the look on his face trying to process what happened, lol. The h22 lude ran a 15.3 to the f's 15.0. It definitely has me wanting to hurry up and finish mine.

Id love to see a picture of the IACV from the side you've got hoses on once ur up and running, if you can find the time that is of course.

What cam are you expecting? a Bisi 2.3 regrind? That's what i'm planning on

also, I love that the F beat the H, what chassis was the H in?
Were they both on street tires? just wondering.

They're both 94 preludes. Just one is a base model and the other one is a si vtec. The cam I'm going to be running is the bisimoto level 2 regrind. The 2.3 is definitely a all nitrous cam. Without spray it won't be any better than the level 2, maybe even worse. I'll try and post a pic later today of how the iacv relocation works.

really? I would have thought the extra exhaust lift would help make more power. but I don't know much about cam lift, I've got a basic knowledge of engines but cam specs is where I just draw a blank lol

I was planning on doing a 75 wet shot, if I decide to go forged in the bottom end I want to run a 125-150 wet shot.

Is the F22A head a direct swap on the F23 block? just wondering. I can never find any information online, but then again I'm terrible with search engines.

Let me know if you do end up doing some f series builds.

I can do some things now depending on what you want. I pulled out my radiator and took off the accessories, wiring harness and water hoses.

Decided to bring some work home with me, lol. I went through and fixed a couple bad connectors and wired in the new injector pigtails.

Whats under the heat wrap? Do you solder all your connections?

I twist, crimp, solder then heat shrink. I'm always worried about the wires coming apart with just solder.

The F23A1 bare block weighs exactly 58lbs. The only more I could have stripped from it are then balancer shaft bearings. What does your stripped F22A block weigh?

I completely forgot to post it, 65lbs same way. That's crazy. I wonder what the difference is. Maybe the f22 is low pressure cast and the f23 is high pressure cast.

And there's also the difference of the material missing because of bore size and main journal size. It's small, but maybe a combined 2 lbs from all that. Certainly not the reason for all of it.

Im dreading putting it back together though. Its funny how I don't mind pulling the head, doing electrical work or even the timing belt stuff but I hate pulling the transmission stuff out.
