I actually have a f22 bottom with nothing in it but a block brace which is at most 1lb.

so i was doing some browsing and decided to show you guys why i came up with the decision to run the rdx injectors over my previous rc, injector clinic and bosch injectors.
with our cylinder heads (f/h series alike) having split port design due to 2 intake valves, our optimum spray pattern is different from single intake valve engines. the mentioned injectors above that i've personally ran on my car are a narrow spray pattern that does not work well with my engine and has caused me poor fuel economy, driveability issues and a some-what rough idle. this was due to wasted fuel sticking to the intake tract walls (more specifically the divider).

example of spray pattern
this difference is due to the shape and placement of the holes on the pintle head.
this is an up close of the rc injectors i was using
and this is one of the RDX injectors, notice how the holes are designed to flow towards the split path.
this will account for a much better fuel atomization which can lead to some pretty good benefits like less wasted fuel (ie better fuel economy), smoother idle and can even make a little more power. now this wont make some astronomical difference in hp but it has been proven to gain a few (2-3whp).
also for some reference information i measured my h23vtec throttle body before i sent it to maxbore. the only difference i see between the h23vtec and the s2000 throttle body is the throttle rotor is shaped slightly different and the tps positioning is different. the h23vtec points down like normal but the s2000 one points up. there is usually enough slack in the wiring to reach it so it fits with no problems.

Love it man, I was gonna use those same injectors for my build
I'm gonna buy the fuel rail for them tho instead of modifying the original rail.
I'm guessing you've probably not seen it before since you modded your's so I'll link it here. If you did know about it already at least now it's there for anyone fallowing your awesome build.
Can wait to see what you put down with this setup, i'll basically the same setup but on an F22A block.
BTW, how is your IACV run? I want to use the H22 skunk2 manifold, I see yours mounted to a plate there but how does it work? id love to know.Last edited by CB7DX420; 07-01-2013, 08:39 PM.

It has two adapters and two hoses running from the manifold to the valve. If the camshaft comes in before Friday I should be up and running by next wednesday or so. By the way that rail still uses the adapters. The only.thing I had to mod on the rail is I drilled the mounting tabs out to slide further down the studs.Last edited by jdm92_accorn; 07-01-2013, 08:56 PM.
