well i checked the head today and it looks like im going to need another head and camshaft. so only thing that is salvageable is valvesprings and the manifolds. so i might just take you up on that short block offer. let me talk it over with the GF and ill let you know. im broke as a joke and she's the one shelling out the money. also just to put it out there there is a company that sells crank scrapers for the f22.

Engine doesn't knock one bit, oil looked good coming out, does smoke on decel due to rings not being fully seated (Engine has less than 30 miles on it). I can't give it away but i can sell it to ya for cheap HA. I would offer the head but it got nicked and i was going to chance it with copper spray.

im more worried about how the mains and rod bearings look and how the oil pump is. i've got ways to make rings seat, lol. the biggest thing is shipping on something like that. i literally would pay about the same in shipping as i would for the motor, lol. like i said, let me talk to the GF, she's the one with the cash.

If you are dealing with shipping i'd go the other route with a supplier. I like people to check my stuff out in person when it comes to engine and transmissions, so they can make the best choice.
Good luck bud, i'd hate to see ya give up the stock CR an head setup before the logic an retune!

well im probably going to end up selling the header and my ported h23 intake to fund just getting something reliable back in the car. it sux i have to buy another cam too. ive had that web regrind for years.
but i WILL be back on top. i have to many hatters locally i can just let down, lol. all the little b/h series guys are thinking im going to just phase out, what they dont realize is im going to come back stronger. new setup will be as follows:
same AEM v2 intake with blox velocity stack
70mm tapered to 64mm s2k throttle body
bisimoto lvl 2 camshaft
same skunk2 intake manifold
bisimoto 1 layer 86mm head gasket
bone stock f22a1 head on bone stock f23a1 block with new oem honda oil pump and a crank scraper
same bisimoto header
same 2.5" mandrel exhaust

let me guess the skunk 2 is on the right/top and the professional products is on the left/bottom? SK2 also looks bigger.
