The '96 JDM Integra Type R is 1060kg and my Accord weighs 3000lbs. That's pretty close to 600lbs. Now you have an LX so you're lighter than I am but still, I don't see how you're going to be lighter than an Integra Type R.

a fully loaded type r with a/c is about 254xlbs. but that is beside the point. i never said i'd be lighter that a type r. i said i am 10lbs lighter than my boys GSR , which has the same options plus a sunroof. plus the type r is a 1.8 i will still be a 2.1. i will actually only be 14cc smaller displacement over a stock f22. stock f22 is 2156cc and 88x88 is 2141cc. if i do 88.5mm bore i come out roughly 9cc larger than the stock f22a. i've been considering for some time now buying a dx coupe and stripping out the interior except for 2 NRG carbon seats up front, door panels and a dash, then go high rpm f-series screamer. i think i can get the weight of a dx down to the low 2500lb mark and couple that with the t2w4 trans, 5.15 final drive and a solid 250-260whp would scream. i know the a/c system alone is about 85lbs, rear seat is 40lbs and stock seats with 20yrs worth of dirt and sweat are about 45lbs x 2 vs the NRG's are 15lbs with brackets. thats roughly 145lbs right there. the dx is manual windows and i'd be removing the carpet. if i kept the lx and did just the ac and seat stuff that puts me at the mid 2500's and i could still do carbon hood and trunk, and thats on the lx.

today I got a nice surprise well cleaning my throttle body. A nice blockage that has apparently been there since the intake manifold change. The throttle body gasket was blocking about 15mm into the opening. I'm not sure if there's a hp difference but it definitely made a huge difference in throttle response. I knew it felt sluggish in traffic but I couldn't putmy ffinger on what it was. I also noticed after the swap the throttle was sticking sometimes. Funny how you miss the small details. It's probably all in my head but even the intake sounds more ferocious now, lol. Must be the inner ricer. I also had another run in with the civic. Round two and I'm sure the final. He cracks me up, tell me this isn't a ricer excuse, "man I don't this vtec is working on the intake side, it did sound as strong as it normally does." Then he asked if I wanted run them again with his slicks so it'd be fair from a dig. Lol. I told him yah if I could run slicks too and move my launch rpm from 3k to 5k.

Soon, very soon. I ordered the header and the flange tonight and I'm planning to grab a f22a6 windage tray and do a timing belt also before my next run on the rollers. I really want that 180whp before I tear into the engine.

I understand that. 180 is my goal before switching over to E85. After that I want to be in the 200hp range.

I'm at 175. But 5whp is literally getting blood from a turnip, lol.
