So let me get this straight... Your making 174whp with basically I/H/E, cam, and skunk2 manifold?

        And 160+ torque!!!

Look at the torque from the same power on an H22A

This thing will absolutely RIP with more compression

If you multiply for gearing it comes out to be about the same.

Well damn... Maybe I should try this h22 intake manifold. I was only hoping for 160hp MAX with my build and It's not much different than this. Compression might be a little in my favor but what you lost in compression, you made up for with header, intake, and slightly bigger cam

With a bump in compression and a cam with over .400 lift this the thing could easily break 200whp.

Biggest difference between your build and mine is the skunk2 manifold and bisi header. Mine's a completely OEM rebuilt block with slight porting in the head (basically just cleaned it up a little), h23 intake with double stacked spacer, Bisimoto level 2 cam and springs, Bisimoto intake gasket, dc header, 2 1/2in exhaust with test pipe, and I just have a basemap on a po6 right now. I also got an 8lb flywheel and no balance shaft belt.

Depending on when you bought your level2 cam it's a bigger cam than mine. If it was after 2009 the it's the larger cam. With the same manifolds and the port work you should make. 175-180ish.

I'd get rid of the double stack IAB plates.

I just got the cam last year. The port work I did probably wouldn't even net me 5hp. I got bored and didn't have any beer so I just kinda cleaned em up a little bit. I did spend a lot more time in the exhaust so that'll probably be where any gains are found. I honestly don't know if I can justify spending $500+ for an intake manifold even though the gains are great. Maybe ill strip my other block down and throw some new pistons and rods and then get my head worked over real good. 200whp n/a would be a hell of a lot of fun to drive. Are you using a lighter flywheel and no balance shafts to reach the numbers your at?

Agreed, unless they are hogged out for plenum volume rather than runner length

I'm really not all that concerned about runner length. I'm not trying to build some crazy fast car or anything. I just wanna have a fun daily.

The balance shaft belt is off. As far as the $500 everyone keeps commenting on, In the n/a world 15whp for that price isnt bad. That's less than $34 per hp.

I agree that It's great bang for the buck but as far as my project goes... It's just not for me. Now if I decide to build my other block and shoot for the moon, then I might justify it as a great addition. But if I'm going that route... I wanna see 200ft/lb to the wheels... Then I'm goin v8 hunting. Might even pick a fight with some of the turbo guys in my area

Man 200wtq would be nice but we're still talking fwd's. More torque equals more wheelspin. And torque can be made up for with gearing. If you want torque better focus on stroke and forget about rpms.

I think 230whp and 200ft/lb would make this old accord with factory trans a real street/strip screamer. I'm almost excited enough talking about it to start stripping my other block.
