Almost 8 whp over ported h23. In your opinion, was it worth the $600?

    Comment

Yes. At 6600rpm its almost 15whp and itll make more higher up where as the h23 one will not. Next thing I want is a new header. Im planning to modify a highend h22 header.

Man forget the power... that torque is crazy!!! You are putting down more torque than an I/H/E H22 on 8.4:1 compression... I can't imagine what this thing will do with more compression

This car run's better than 95% of the N/A H's on this board.

Got a question really needless but whatever.... How much of a difference did the cut out switch in that muffler make? lol just gotta know.

Power wise was identical till 3600rpm then it dropped by almost 30hp across the board.

                30whp from muffler restriction?
                When's the next pull video?

68 to a 70mm wont gain anything at this point. my biggest focus now is the weak point of the exhaust side of the f22's. i need a header that helps scavenge. the bisi header just isnt doing it for me.

                        What size is your down-pipe/plumbing?

My buddy Ryan has 70mm, 2.5 exhaust with a PLM header on his H. He's well over 250hp all motor. I know this info is completely useless as it's an entirely different build.

I just don't see how you lost 30hp by improving your intake set up. Maybe that adaptor added more intake volume?

That 30whp loss was with closed baffles on his muffler. He said he gained about 15whp.

Im surprised the muffler killed that much HP. Usually mufflers are only good for like 4-5HP all the way at the fuel cut.

with it closed its essentially a stock muffler, with it open its straight through.

Wow, I just realized that I missed quite a few posts before my last comment. Sorry guys, I feel like a retard.

I am still curious what kind of differences my finessed head is going to make. I really love this thread.
