Just the block, I'm going back to my old block and old cam. I made 171whp,159wtq on a stock bottom end.

one of my friends seems to think its just a head gasket and is willing to buy the gaskets needed. he said its worth it to him so he can see what the car is capable of. so i guess sometime today im putting a head gasket on it....if not then there's to replacement for displacement, lol.

well fellas, got the stock block out of storage today looks rough but rings look good so hopefully this will put her back in the 170whp range, lol.

so i finally got around to posting some pics. i stayed up for two days straight last week putting my baby back together.
here is the pics of why compression was down. i cant believe this thing even ran much less made 166whp. the new guy at the speed shop i will not be returning to apparently knows nothing at all about tuning. i had to junk the block but good news is my rods and crank are perfect so i'll be building another this next tax season. i thought the piston damage on the top was from that whole stolen intake fiasco but my machinist said no it was from the rings letting go due to really bad detonation. poor pistons...

i got it tuned by the guy that squeezed the 171whp out of the stock block last time and thanks to some long hours im happily driving her again.

Did you get a dyno tune or just a street tune? If dyno tuned what were your numbers this time around.

Glad you got her running this is my favorite build on here due to it being more performance oriented than 95% of the cars on here.

It made 167whp but I didn't have enough time to play with the can timing and put my other short ram on.
