Bisi gave the go-ahead for 86mm pistons on stock sleeves? Interesting. What's the next estimated date for a dyno? Also how much do u think ur in for this build $$$ wise? Very interesting stuff.

86mm is nothing on stock sleeves. dyno should be soon and $ wise im not sure.

Haha, sick exhaust, too! Two resonators, an inconspicuously black muffler (and dual-tipped!)... I've had the exact same plans. Great minds think alike! And holy shit, the noise in that 160whp video! Does it keep getting better with more power, or what?!

Ed. - oh, and I say ditch the power steering. If you're into handling, it feels nicer without. Plus, it saps a pony or two.

actually i have had it on the dyno with and without ps, its less than 1whp difference. as for the power it is a friggin rocket. the torque is orgasmic.

im going friday to get a tune so i'll be posting the new numbers soon after. im suprised nobody responded to the vid of the new sound.

so here's the new numbers. turns out when i installed the new cam i put the cam gear off a tooth, it was kinda late when i put it in so it doesnt suprise me. i adjusted it by the cam gear as far as i could to get it dead centered but ran out of adjustment. i also need to do some tuning on the intake runner length and fix the lower portion of my header, its bent pretty bad. to put it in short terms there's some more power to be squeezed out of it.

ps the sae correction factor was .96 meaning the car uncorrected put down 186ish whp.

The numbers look good! Why aren't you spinning this motor higher though? The power and torque drop of fairly quickly. Is that the powerband you wanted?
