    Dutchaccord : 1990 Accord DX

Hi i’m Stefan a.k.a. Dutchaccord a.k.a Macgyver From the Netherlands
I’m studying CONSTRUCIONAL DESIGN (buildings) at the TU/e (Technical University of Eindhoven) , where I hope to graduate in a few years, and so get my master degree.

When I’m not @ school I’m probably helping my dad out with his contracting company. (We renovate/expand buildings etc.)

All the time that’s left is put into the Accord, developing all kinds of new things. (as u might know)

I’ve traded my rusty GMC van30 (1979) for a 1990 CB7 Dx (not that good deal from a cash point of view, but a VERRY good deal from a technical point of view).

These are the mods I’ve currently done:

    ENGINE / EXHAUST:
    - JDM H22A
    - 2.25” Custom exhaust
    - Stainless 3A racing muffler (4” tip)
    - Chipped P28 + on dash usb data logging (soon)
    - Reinforced lower engine guard (1.25" solid metal bar) a real LIFESAVER

    WHEELS / SUSPENSION:
    - 16x7.5 ROH ASTRON Rims
    - 225/40zr16 FR
    - 225/40zr16 RR
    - Billstein track setup (springs and shocks) (zero bodyroll !)
    - DIY camber correction
    - DIY strutbar

    BRAKES: soon
    - Porsche 964 calipers 4 piston (36mm, 40mm)
    - 12.75" directional-vaned vented rotors (297mm x 32 (!) mm)
    - Dot4 brake fluid
    - Porsche on dash adjustable prop valve
    - Porsche 964 master brake cylinder

current: Lude VTEC setup w wagon rotors

    EXTERIOR:
    - OEM EURO R lip
    - Nissan Almera spoiler
    - in lip Fogs

    INTERIOR:
    - 2 10”subs
    - 600w amplifier something
    - Pioneer DEH-P6500 DDR head unit
    - 04 Impreza STI seats

    IN PROGRES
    - Saving up for new paintjob
    - Rebuilding H22a
    - Porsche brake swap

well... actually, JDM as well. that is a JDM h22a, right?

at any rate, that is a very clean, cleann 4th gen. those are 16" wheels?? lol. i love the last pic... it makes your drop look so nice. the car just sits nice and snug over those pirellis

it's great to have you on the forum Dutchaccord

*edit - wow, i didn't see those new pictures when i replied. so you had the carbed f-series, eh? that's the first time i've seen one of those. was that conversion hard (to efi)?

finally u came to cb7! i really wanted you here...i still admire your accord...
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

          Retro!

          Hater

I love nooBs...They make me look good

            Thanks fo the replys...

the carb to pgm fi conversion was really hard to do (not to mention all the work) i needed to replace the wire lums ---> meaning stripping the dash COMPLETELY to the firewall (?) it was a lot of work.... but i did it

as fo the bugs... i think ive got the problem : fuelpressure (it's 1.5 bar and it needs to be 3.0 bar (u do the psi math's ) )

            Yes its a JDM h22a

i've always liked your car from the other forums.

never took a good look at the rear bumper before... what's up with it? is it the shadows, or a non-oem rear? either way, it looks good.

like the rims, def. don't look like 16s

and of course the on board pc is the shizzle!

i would think you would have had to get a new fuel pump becouse the carb setup only needed half the presure. isnt that how old carb american cars are?

ialready replaced the pump w the swap.... but it seems to be defective.......... ill also replace the pressure regulator.

                        And about the air filter:

I simply used some PVC piping to connect the filter w the stock inlet.
