We all know the accord brakes suck big time, so i decided to upgrade em....

296 mm willwood discs (slotted) 32mm thick
Custom alluminium hart

Porsche 996/Boxter calipers (4 pistons)
Custom bracket
Honda legend master brake cylinder
brake ducts

I tried different calipers today and i seems to go w the 996's calipers. Their a bit wider than the boxter ones, as i plan to use 32mm thick rotors.

I see your using the Legend brake master cylinder. Will there be an issue with the brake booster?

Is that getting upgraded as well? Then again, you do have rear drums so it might work out. Hopefully, awesome idea.

I'm just stating this because the 91 Accord SE we have has 4-wheel disc and it has a larger brake booster than my 90 Accord EX w/drums in rear.

i will also swap the rear drums to disks.

i hope the legend brakebooster fits, not sure yet *under investigation* as for the brake balance, i plan to use an adjustable prop valve to get that set right again.

LIL UPDATE:


got new tyres

Dunlop SP Sport 8000 215/40/16...

Made me a new exhaust syst. made of 2.5" piping, and using a cherrybomb as center silencer. (special "bending" thanks to Turbo P , who's got my f20a carbed engine right now.... he REALLY is going to boost it, good luck w it bro :-) )

Upcoming:

A new windscreen.... i caught a rock... it's insured, dont worry


the brake swap (F+R)
due august

new paint yob
due december or so

CF hood... if my wallet is willing




And then if there's any money left, build the engine to recieve some boost..... wut i'd be needing to get a LSD to get al the power onto the ground... DAYUM

Hey Dutch do European 4th gen. Accords have rear foglights? I noticed alot of the newer Euro market Honda's have the bumper mounted rear foglights, but I don't see it on yours.

lil update:

- ordered the brake discs... still haven't arrived
- resoldered the main relay... it began to get anoying
- i finished the turbo manni (full race styled) pic's follow asap

i'm thinking of just gettin pistons sleeves and rods, to safely boost bout 10-12 psi..... and i might add some DIY ITB's, just to keep me busy.. i just need to find a set of hyabusa itb's....
