I've had a drop, I got tired of it. I don't want one enough now, at least not on this car. This car's my "VIP" comfort car, more consideration for passengers, (even though its a 2-door yeah I know) I think the crx will become my sporty outlet. It's more appropriate I think, don't you? It can has a drop, poly bushings, intake, exhaust, etc. Everything about the cb7 has to say, "Clean, taken care of, maintained, comfortable, smooth".
The crx can say, harsh, loud, head-ache/back-ache-enducing
No offense to anyone else's cars.

where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

That is foremost in my mind when I think about a drop. Trouble is, the drops that look good are too harsh, the ones that are still comfortable don't drop enough. So I sit at stock level.

bump, updated the first post, I now have a neuspeed front upper strut bar, I'm checking to see how my money's doing, cuz I wanna buy SS brake lines, brembo blank rotors all around and hawk hps pads, looking at about 550 for all that without paying anybody for install....so I might wait for my stimulus check

sedan is gone, sold, sad to see it go but also very glad. It's been sitting for a year and I've gotten tired of seeing it. It was like a monkey on my back, the albatross around my neck. Rust-ridden and oil leaks like a ford.....I couldn't keep dumping money into it, seriously
got nothing back for it, but it had to go
my coupe took over for it, much cleaner, much tighter, feels 10 years newer than the 90
I'm still sad to see my original cb7 inspiration machine leave me, but maybe I'll still see it around town

And as far as updates, I got the master cylinder replaced and braking is much better now, so I'm rethinking doing brake upgrades, considering the cost and the work required (I'm the only one who works on the car unless I take it to a mechanic so that has to be taken into consideration every time)
Now I'm thinking more along the lines of maintenance. I've gotta get the AC fixed, fuckin licky tick, cuz summers right around the bend, and south florida is a bitch, it'll melt the brain outta your ears
Second, I wanna start focusing on wear items like balljoints, tie-rods, bushings
ABS is still broke, but besides the light you'd never know really. I mean who locks up their brakes? I tried to once and I couldn't get them to. Sure I could try harder, but I realized the cb's got plenty of stopping power, and what it does lack you can make up by being a better driver
And lastly, for now, I'm really interested in making a sort of customized intake using the stock airbox as a base. It has to be quiet below about 3.5-4k, and it needs to be able to move air better. I was racing some punkass in a mustang the other day and it just felt suffocated.... the mustang didn't win, but neither did I, we were neck and neck with the mustang pulling a few inches at the end of each gear, then falling back (v6 model I imagine)
I want to keep the resonator and the stock air suffocator thing for under 3.5k but replace the tubing leading out of the box with a bigger one. I was thinking I could figure my dimensions and working space, then create something from fiberglass that we sell where I work
I searched the site some and the only thing I saw related was owequitit seems to be working on a custom modified stock intake with a similar idea in mind. I'd love to get some of his opinions and knowledge and research.
