as for having a shop to use, that was in the past.

My co-workers, made all of us loose that priveledge when they stole materials from the shop. so evebn though i and the manager are still the only one with keys, and responsibility around the place. i am unable to use the shop, on side work.

the goal is to build my own 2 car garage shop, but that will have to come later down the line after my brother is better and money starts flowing again.

i forgot to update ya'll


2 months ago, i swaped my h22 for a f22 i had, because the h22 had a small leak in the headgasket.
and 3 days later a valve broke in half....

it fell in the motor and blew a hole through the piston and tore the head all up...

so it's just been sitting in my buddy's filed since then...

i am considering finding another f22 or a f22 head and put it on the h22 block.

Is there an update on your brother? I just read the entire thread btw, and you put a huge amount of work into this car and it looked/s great. I really liked the airbrushing.

dang man, it never showed me someone had left a post..

I personally just went back and read through my whole thread from the begining to the end as well... and it's kinda depressing to see how the car is right now...
But at the end of the day,, it's still just a car.

i have much more important things in life happening.

As for my brother being one of them..... Still no news to share that is any better... he's still in his same condition, he has brain activity but no awakening responses.

My grandfather has demintia,, and he has realized it, and because of it he is threatening to kill himself, because he doesn't want to live like that...
My grandmother died 2 years ago.
He is ready to be with her again... and it's kinda hard on our family right now, but all things will work out.

My wife and I baby is due on my Birthday, Aug 25th

She's about to have to stop working and go on bed rest, so that income will no longer exzist...

As you can see cars never get put before me or my family, and thats okay by me.

Hopefully one day i will be able to have great news for you all again.

the update:

it is still sitting in my friends field with a blown motor from the dropped valve,, i haven't had the drive, motivation or money to even think about cars for the last few months

i sold her to a local boy who is still a newbie in these cars, i have talked him into making a thread showing the rec\build of the car to his liking,, he's also paying me to help with many of the modifications he wants done, so this will be the end of this thread and hopefully he will start a new for her new life.

since i didn't have any photos of the build.

we had removed and sold my mahle pistons when ui thought i had a blown head gasket, and i put in these off ebay that were the same compression with wrist pins for half the cost.















i miss the car's prime.
