PLEASE PLEASE do me a favor though, and get the black off the headlights.

Acetone should wipe it right off if it is paint, and a razor blade would do it if it is tape.

Other than that, it just needs some elbow grease.

I didn't get the hood painted... I made a trip out to Jersey to see Deev and Sean (92lxcoupe???) for a stock shifter, and Deev had a good Bordeaux red hood sitting on the side of his house. We haggled and traded.

As far as the headlights... I think I'll take care of that next weekend.

LMAO, naw they're regular yellow fogs... that are wired in such a way that whenever the car is on, they are on. I have a lot of shit to do with this car, I hope I can knock it all out next week.

In lieu of that other nonsense thread, you have a great setup in that car. Fix the maintenance issues and you're good to go on any performance parts. Suspension and brakes are done right? Exhaust is done right?

What other maintenance things do you need to do? You have a wiring problem? That is a bitch but I'm pretty good with that sort of thing, so that, the A/C swap, and whatever else we can cram in one long drunken CB7 Spring day, I'm down.

I also agree that black strip has to go. I think you should also get black corner lenses and bumper lenses because it will look good and I think you should do something to make it look like your car and not Sparkles.

EDIT: And if we fix your fog wiring, can we please hide it with some loom?

Wow, I read your first post and that's the MOST sense you have made in a long time. Your goals are reasonable and it seems like you're knocking things off the list. I hope you go through with you plans this time and leave excuses out of this.

When did you put stock seats back in it...or did it not come with the Tenzos?

I still think putting those wheels back to polished would make the car look sharp.

Nick- Like I think we talked about, I'm down to head back down this coming Saturday to knock out that P/S and A/C swap... I might even pick up an orbital buffer and get busy with the paint. If you and Deev are free I'm coming down.

Hondafan- I was going through some shit and the car wasn't helping. Now that I have stuff in the background together it's easier to move in a coherent direction with the car. Plus despite some setbacks I have a good platform to work from... this car has well over 7-8K invested into it already; I'm really just polishing up the rough edges and making the car presentable and tolerable. It's much easier to make progress when you have reasonable goals and expectations.

AccordWarrior- I'm working on the wheels. The car came with the full stock interior, clean as a whistle as it sat in h22sparkle's basement for a couple of years. And the car got painted, so the hood is a little brighter than the rest of the car. At this point though that's minor... a compounding job and fixing the rust is the extent to which I will fix the body for now.
