    b-bomb: 91 accord ex

As long as I've been a part of this site, I haven't made a pics thread yet. Partially because I'm not real proud of my car just yet. Its still got a long way to go. Anyway here it is, try not to laugh.

Before the accident. I miss it.
I bought this car for $1000 in Aug. 2006 with stock shocks and chopped stock springs, came with the current paint (which I intend on redoing when I get my bodywork done) and a lot of shortcuts were taken. So on this car to this point, most of my work has been fixing things rather than modding.
The day I bought the car, no lie, I got in an accident that ripped off my front bumper, dented my hood, and ruined my bumper supports and left headlight. I'm still dealing with that stuff.

    MODIFICATIONS

    Engine:
    Autozone DIY short ram intake
    PowerAdder filter
Aftermarket Fuel Pressure Regulator (not sure of brand)
    Ractive 9mm spark plug wires
    NGK spark plugs
Megan 4-2-1 header, dp, high flow cat
Custom bent 2.25" full catback exhaust
    Removed A/C & P/S
    Optima Red Battery

    Interior/Exterior:
    All black interior
    APC racing seat (driver only)
    Grant Evo GT steering wheel
    Type R shift knob
    A'PEXi S-AFC II
FAZE Air Fuel and Oil Pressure gauges
Glow Gauges for OEM gauge cluster
    Cobra pig sniffer
Sony Xplod Amp and 10" Sub
    Pioneer Head Unit
    Greddy Front Lip
Rear bumper I got from a friend

    Suspension:
    Tien S Tech springs
    KYB AGX struts
    Ingalls Front Camber Kit
16x7 Rota Circuit 8's wrapped in Fuzion Zri's

I know there are things I'm forgetting about so I'll have to edit those in later.

when I got the car. Those are my old wheels.

My radar detector matches!! Completely coincidence BoN.

Hey dude, that's pretty cool you've got an MR thread going!

The cb is is looking good. I like the choice of wheels. Not a big fan of the black stripe lol... but I guess you got the car like that.

Glad to see you getting things done right, like your suspension.... bringing her back up to spec

      Any future plans?

I'm not a big fan of the stripe either. Never have been. That's why when I finish the body work the whole thing is going to be repainted. I think black but I'm not positive yet.
Plans for the near future are a camshaft (delta or bisi) and p06 chipped/tuned ecu. That, after the body work, is going to happen this summer. I've just got to stop being lazy and do it, but it'll be easier when I'm home and not a school.

It's got better top end, not a lot, but some. And the sound is noticeably deeper. Not too bad for regular driving but under decent acceleration it's pretty loud. I've heard louder though, by far.

Nice. A more agressive cam with a tune should complement your current setup nicely.

All the best with the body work! Like most cbs in the South, it looks like yours has little or no quarter panel rust. I'm not that lucky. My car spent most of it's life on the harsh Michigan roads so the damage has been done. I'm starting to see signs of it now. Major rust repair and body work is in its future.

Yeah you don't see many rust problems on any cars around here. What I've seen on some of you guys' cars is worse than was on my dads '79 Ford Econoline. Never repainted and it only had a little rust in a couple places. Most of it's problems with paint was it just not being shiney anymore.
