I bought a new toy today


I can't wait to use it, as long as I don't screw it up, my paint should be looking amazing!

Also, I found out that in the St. Louis metro area, cars 1995 and older don't need emissions testing anymore, so I'm going to be getting one of these pretty soon.


After I get my safety inspection done tomorrow, I'm gonna look into ordering some wheels finally. Unfortunately though, the 16" rota grid in 4x114.3 in black with a red lip is on backorder and it will be months before I can get them, so I'm thinking the rota subzero in flat black.


Tires will most likely be BFG G-force sports, since they're pretty cheap and seem to perform well from what I've heard.

So that's whats up right now. Peace.

That exact same MEGAN pipe is like THE first thing i ever bought for my car and when i took it to the exhaust place, they told me it was a test pipe and wasnt legal. Like they legally couldnt put it on my car. I would think emissions would be state wide, not city.

Anyway, list looks good and as always, cant wait to see more.

VERY clean car man! You'll love the H23 IM btw. One note: I saw that you plan on installing the rear EX cross member and also the Progress rear sway........fyi, you do not need to change the cross member to install the Progress bar, either one requires you to drill a few holes. I'm currently running my LX (same as DX) rear cross member and have the Progress bar installed. So no need to waste the money on the Ex cross member unless you have other plans!

Adam, you never really had anything to worry about with the cat in MO, I was a state inspector and as long as it appears that theres a cat you'll be ok. Theres no emissions in MO

and damn...I spent all that time in the junkyard pulling that crossmember out....well if I run out of money I can use the ex sway for now lol. At least now I know how the whole rear suspension comes apart and goes together.

Update: ordered my wheels last thursday, so I hope they're here by the end of the week.

Well shit!

I don't have a credit card, so I ordered my wheels with a money order, and the wheels I wanted were in stock when I sent the money order, but they are sold out now, and the only wheel remotely close to what I want is a 17 inch rota slipstream in flat black...but I don't want 17s. I even called Rota direct, and they don't do special orders anymore, so basically its no rotas for me for now.

So, I'm getting my $500 back, and painting my EX Alloys black and putting some good all season tires on them, and using the money that would have been for my wheels on either the suspension, or maybe...just maybe....a Bisimoto camshaft and a good tune? So we'll see...what's next to come for this car is up in the air as of right now.

Washed the car today, and didn't spend much time on anything except the hood and roof really....I tried out my new polisher on those. I'd say it looks pretty good, but I need alot more practice before I move away from big, flat areas. The good thing is that the cb is full of them lol.

In other news, I'm getting ready to ship off my h23 tb and plenum to maxbore!

Well to be honest, I don't really trust myself with it fully yet, I've still got to practice with it alot. I haven't even gotten to do my own car yet completely lol.

I don't know though, If you clean it and clay it beforehand, then I wouldn't ask for a whole lot.
