The sedan gets sold... I'm keeping the coupe! The whole reason that I stopped driving the sedan was that I was using the coupe exclusively, and it was just costing me money in insurance.

Check out the car on the left, in the last pic of the thread starter... that's the one that I'll be selling.

Another nice coupe! ugh it seems I will never find one for me.... GL with getting it fixed, do you have any problems with tires rubbing on that suspension setup?

The tires rubbed in the rear, but only because the wheels don't have quite enough off-set. Make sure that you've got better than 45mm off-set, and you shouldn't have a problem with the 215's. As it was, I used a pipe to roll my rear fenders on the trip to California.

What do you guys think? Should I source a stock hood and get it color-matched, or just go with a carbon fiber piece? On the lines of weight reduction, I'm still hesitant to rip out the A/C, so the hood weight isn't a *big* concern.

                    Here's the aftermath:

I'll need one marker light and a hood, before this thing will pass inspection for retitle.

No contact between my radiator and exhaust manifold; the radiator's plenum has a big ol' break, right in the center.

The A/C lines were safe behind the bumper!

Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the front bulkhead without disconnecting the A/C lines?

Is it really bad enought to have to replace the whole Bulkhead? Looks to me like you could do a little something like this.....

replace the "T" bar, and attach a rope or chain or what have you, somewhere around the "Blue lined" bars, and pull them out to spec. You could easily find out how far to pull them out by measuring the distance between one point on the firewall and the bulkhead on another CB.

                          just my 2 cents.

I dont think you even have to pull anything out, just replace the "T" bar like what was mentioned and put a new one in. My buddy wrecked alot worser than this and only had to replace that piece.

I've come to the same conclusions! $50 in cross-bracing sounds good to me.

                              Thanks guys.
