mocked up 1 of the wheels, getting them new tires in january.

also picked up some new lug nuts and painted one of my spoon mirrors, pics later.

Those wheels are so fresh! Are they all in the same condition?

yea, the one i have in the pictures is the worst one with a few rock chips, the rest are mint.

i chose to leave it out for security reasons.

motor will come when the car gets painted lol which wont be for a long time. lol

what kind of paint did you use on the spoon mirrors? what they carry at the auto parts store or special order online?

used duplicolor import spray frost white. came out a little yellow but i think it was the clear. so i'm going to experiment with a few different other cans, but for a sure exact paint match i'd order from www.paintscratch.com

Damn, I had to search back a few pages on my MRT, but found it...

"DupliColor white, and Krylon Clear (non-yellowing)"; this is what I used to paint my engine bay, and so far its kept up nice, and bright w/o yellowing. I bought these at Walmart. The clear has a nice gloss to it.

yea the clear i bought is UV clear, didnt say anything about non yellowig OOPS lol. i'll try the duplicolor white.

duplicolor white turned out a bit off when i painted my lip. but i think it all depends on how many coats you do. krylon non-yellowing clear works great though.
