So today, or should I say yesterday...after finally getting out of bed around 2, I decided to work on the car. Pretty much til 8ish PST.
I'm starting to touch more of the cosmetic side of things. It's pretty much wrapped up. Some wires here and there. Nothing strenuous.
Ah, finally got around to the rear brakes. Never attempted to remove them. If I can pull out an engine, this shouldn't be too hard...and it wasn't.
Randomness:
Wirebrushed and prepped
Coating.
Passenger rear re-installation:
I guess you can call this the front view
It hasn't exhaled in well over a year. Just wanted to show inside the WS2. Normally the WS2 canisters are designed with chambers. This is the universal one. Much louder, but less restrictive by far. DIRTY.
And the stainless goodies.
More to come.

Got these almost a week ago. Bought Black fittings but decided that these would accommodate my engine bay better.

These guys are awesome. I had a change of heart in color and all I had to do was return it and they paid for shipping back to me. They're pretty cool people too. Recommended!

[QUOTE=jdm_inspired;2795587]Corsport shift linkage bushings.
Courtesy of shanleycb7. Thanks bro.
OK I was wondering if you got them or not. Just get your car running and lemme know how those bushings feel! Did you move the shifter around? Feels slightly better doesn't it coz they don't flex anymore. The clicks sound more dull now too which is nice when shifting and driving.
Ninja Edit: Your car is still ***

Some more progress
It's been about a week since I last touched this thing. I finally got around to finishing all the brakes. I'm getting really really close. I'm estimating I will get it on the road in 2 weeks. There are minor set backs.
A few vacuum line extensions. A little more wiring, Brake bleeding... just a few of the minor things.
I finally got around to working on my lower tie bar.
Yes you do not have to tell me twice.
My unnecessary utterly useless bling:
And I finally got a belt for my alternator. It is missing a few teeth but this is what bisimoto suggested so this is it. I'm sure it will work fine. A very tight fit I might add.
Again, very close:
And the teeth:
So I look at my stabilizer bars and I noticed when my wheels were on the ground, it was hitting my crank pulley. I wonder if I installed the bars wrong. I did notice the bend but I been had it like that since I had the car. Are they supposed to be straight?? Hmm, this is going to be a problem, however it wasn't a problem before...
More to come.
