Wassup all. Haven't really updated this thing in a while, primarily because I haven't done a thing to my car since I got my bimmer.

I actually tore down the car for an engine build. I was actually in the process of pulling out the engine. I already took out all the essentials prior to pulling the block and tranny.

My dilemma now is wheather or not I should really proceed with this car.

"Is it really worth my time and money to continue?"

When I talk of my build, I'm putting in camshafts, possibly pistons and cam gears. Also debating whether or not to delete the ABS. I'm already going to delete the power steering pump and hook the lines. The reason for the pull out is I am going to finally proceed for a major wire tuck and color match the engine bay.

Just need opinions...not opinions to make a decision for me. I just want to know if dumping a little over 2 grand is worth having a 13 or below second car after tune. I already invested over 10k.

All opinions welcome.

If you're putting in something for the engine just to impress yourself or somebody , it's pointless.

If you already invested 10k in the car, why stop now? The exterior, imo, looks great. Now you're working on the powerplant and making that equal if not better than the shell surrounding it. Just keep the ball rolling. It makes no sense to stop now.

I would love to see you stick with the ride and go a little further with it Ant. Would it really be worth it? That's really up to you man. I know I wanted to get rid of mine as well but after putting rims on it for a day it changed my mind to keep it and go further with it. I love you ride dude and the time and money will definitely pay off in the long run. You know the bug will definitely come and get you if you lose it.

Thanks guys. Yeah I know if I sold it I would regret it. I got this far...why not finish it. Paul I understand what you're saying. The built isn't for anyone else but myself. I always wanted a slow car shit on fast ones.

I remember the look on faces after tearing assholes on Si's, WRX's, 5.0's etc.
I want those looks from moded cars like that. I am not getting power hungry, I just want to COMPLETE it.

After the tune I am definitely done. This will always be my garage car. The bimmer will always stay outside.

Conversation with the ex:
