Luckily you didn't...lol...cuz if you went to Walnut Grove, you'd be out in the Central Valley...not in the Bay Area where Walnut Creek is.
Unless you meant Walnut Creek...then I'd just be an idiot...

For clay bar, I jump around from brand to brand... I've tried the Meguiers [sp?] one which I like better then the Mother's brand (only based on the smell of the spray) but they both work exactly the same. I'm currently using Clay Magic which is cheaper then the both of them and I don't see any difference.
For wax, I do 2 (or more) coats of Meguiers [sp?] Tech wax paste. I used to use the liquid wax, but the paste dries faster for buffing.
I've actually wet sanded my car when I first got it. My bro-in-law was wet sanding his Suburban and I asked him if he could do my car as well... He hooked it up!
I suggest if you get your car painted, ask the shop to put more coats clear then wet sand the shiet outta that! Once you wet sand, you just have to put on a polish, then a wax to protect the paint. You wont have to clay bar for a while, just here and there once in a while for spot smoothing...
