DDE(Daylight Demon Eyes) CCFL(Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lighting) is an aftermarket term. It actually is an appearance upgrade for the BMW's dim orangy/creamy Fiber Optic Angel Eyes aka "Halos." There was even an advertisement in the newspaper/magazine that said something like: "The BMW Angel Eyes are like the windows to the world." The DDE CCFL were put in the market because they are much whiter, brighter and cheaper than the BMW's OEM Fiber Optic Rings. When the DDE CCFL first came out in the market, they were sold for $175 but now you can find them on ebay for about $35 per kit. There are also Phosphyre Angel Eyes which are slightly greenish/aqua but go for around $300 but are slightly dimmer than the DDE CCFL. Either way, both DDE CCFL and Phosphyre kit give an aggressive, distinctive look to the headlights depending on ones personal preferrence.

One more thing, Angel Eyes aka Halos= White halos
Daylight Demon Eyes = White halos
Demon Eyes = Red halos (duhhhh a given!!)

I went the easy route; I went to Japan Town and bought the CARMATE JDM License Plate Stay kit! haha The only problem is that the holes are setup for a JDM license plate. You'd have to drill new holes to fit the USDM plates
