Haltech E8 installed and idling the car like a champion. We will hopefully tune the car tomorrow on the dyno and do a comparison of running the e8 to running the car with the p06 and crome.
We will be using a haltech boost control solenoid and having a lo and high boost configuration.

No clue on the number good sir. It was 244 whp and 239 tq on the 14b.

My setup is getting more awesome soon.
My car has had boost creep issues since I went 16g, and I was tuned on crome with it for quite a while. It ran fine, but was semi annoying.
Good news.

Tial 38mm external wastegate

3 bar map sensor
various other little things.
and Im trying to convince the guys at work that I need the racepak iq3 dash to replace my current stock gauge cluster.

looks like you'll have to do the blue LED DIY so this can match up.

My boss said today, we need to get those gauges out of there and clean it up a bit, one of those dashes would be nice in there...

I do believe I am going to go with the racepak iq3 and do a complete cluster replacement, and ditch all of my current gauges. I cannot wait to get it done, should be pretty spiffy.
Edit:
Going tial 38mm external wastegate this weekend, as well as installing a civic half radiator.
Could get tuned on saturday also, but I doubt it. The external gate should allow us to have a nice boost curve and tune much more easily.
Going with a haltech boost control solenoid setup on one of the pwm outputs of the e8 whenever we do this also, and might control it with a trim knob, allowing high and low boost levels to be utilized with the turn of a knob.
Ill keep you all updated.

Just make sure the High/low knob, is mounted somewhere it won't be knocked easily. The last thing you want is to be at full boost on the low setting in the exit of a corner then accidently knock the knob, giving unexpected wheelspin.
Could you integrate a feature into the haltech, to be able to "switch" rather than "trim" between boost levels?

The e8 can do gear dependent boost control as well, which is pretty nice. I might mount the knob where the fog light switch should be, or somewhere similar. Im sure that a switch would be possible, but Im also sure that knowing the guys I work with, they will insist on a quality install and location.
