      thanks man, i got my fpr in today.
      tomorrow is header and strut tower bar, and friday its head and n2o.
      still unsure of when the ecu comes in, but i just hope that its tomorrow.

        Today
        I cut the little black pieces out of the mouth of the bumper.
        Blackhoused headlights
        Got My header and Strut Tower bars, and installed the front one
        Got my Lower tie bar
        Ditched the fogs
        Ditched the black plastic trim around the edges of the doors and the trunk
        Tomorrow is when the fun begins however.

                  were done with the to do list. im incredibly tired, and it took a bit of work, but man, its awesome now. ill post up what we did with pics tomorrow, and for now, i shall leave you with a pic or two of the new setup.

                    Need details on how it runs. Does the chipped P06 ECU need fine tuning or you happy? Where is your powerband RPM wise without nitrous?

                    Details man, when you have time Mike aight. Job well done (assuming it runs ). Must be nice to have a bro that helps out, wish I had one. Mine is pretty much worthless when it comes to cars, heck my little sister knows more than him...seriously!

                    If you didn't, I would have filled your motor mounts when you had the head off since it's cakework with McMaster Carr poly fill.

                      he owes me money, so of course he helps out.
                      the thing i dont have now is the ecu actually, so i cant imagine how much better its going to run after i get it this tuesday or so. its so much faster even not on the nitrous. it sounds so good, and the valves tick and tock like a mad man. the idle is so low and sounds like it wants to die. on the juice, its an entirely different ride than it was 48 hours ago. im so excited about it and i want to go drive it, but its late and i need sleep and a shower, etc, but instead here i am. everything is fine except for once we got it all back together and on, the idle was ridiculous. it was jumping up to about 4500 rpms and giving us trouble. he did some stuff with some hoses and voila, the idle went down again, and didnt give me any trouble until i got back into the stop and go traffic of lexington. the idle likes to stay up at about2k when i stop and stay there for about 20 seconds, and then it slowly starts backing down, but when i say slowly, i mean slowly. i think there is a vaccuum hose issue but im going to address it in the morning. im also going to get a full update and pics of the process. now its time to hold the wifey.

                          Need more details on where is your powerband, where do you really feel the motor kick in. What ECU are you running on right now? Mine wouldn't even idle on stock ECU, it'd fall flat on it's face.

                              The idling problem could be your IACV. I've been having problems with my idle too.

                                so, ive tried to type up a timeline twice now, and something about flock sucks, and thus, you the viewer get my extremely abbreviated version of events.
                                i went to my dads friday, we installed stuff, my car is faster now.
                                awesome.
                                Things installed/Done
                                H23 IM and TB
                                Cleaned/Polished IM, TB, and all Ports on Head
                                Delta 272 Cam
                                DC Header
                                Adjustable FPR
                                Idle issue fixed
                                NOS wet kit 50 shot currently, will go to 75 when i take it to the track
                                Front and Rear Strut Tower Bar
                                Lost some wires
                                Installed an Oil PSI gauge in place of old fuel gauge on pillar
                                Timing retarded to compensate for cam and n2o
                                valve lash set
                                NGK plugs

                                Issues/Not done/Not Installed
                                p06(should be here tuesday or wednesday)
                                pnp head(not done, so im going to have a more extensive job done, bore it out, and get bigger pistons and up the compression in the winter. new rods, fuel rail, injectors as should follow as well).
                                FPR(leaky, so we put the old one on and its running somewhat rich, but not bad)

                                That being said, im sure ive forgotten a couple of things, and ill address those as i think of them.
                                On to the issue of power!
                                the power is much better now and the car feels 4000 times faster. the powerband kicks in around 3k and it doesnt stop until 6500(i wont take it higher than that). im running my stock ecu and its running fine, and so i cant wait to get a more aggressive setting with the p06. im running somewhat rich, not much and not even really, but on the a/f gauge its right on the line between stoich and rich. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd pull like crazy and i have to be very careful in 1st, as it wants to go go go if im not careful. it might not be a rocketship, but as compared to the f22a1 in its stock form, it is. now, with the nitrous, its awesome. it pulls like a freight train, and it just keeps wanting to go. it sounds like a v8 at idle and the sound clips i have dont do it justice. the idle sucked at first, going way high to even higher, and it was what appears to have been a vacuum issue and it wasnt doing it last time i was outside. that being said, if anyone has any questions let me know. thanks to japnightrider for helping me out, as hes a mechanic/my brother, and he owes me money(albeit less now) and if i can ever convince him, im going to get an msd 6al next time i go down there. alright, enough words, on with the pretty pictures!
