woot.
I just called the shop and my tune is scheduled for Friday morning at 11, so after the tune I will post up some dyno graphs of the results.
can't wait.

well, the first time I was there I was getting boost spike up to 13 psi, however, I don't know how long the engine would last under said conditions. Therefore, I'd like to see somewhere around 10-12 psi as I am trying to find a new dd and i forsee this becoming more and more of a total project car in the future.

where did you get that fitting for your fuel pressure guage to go into the fuel rail service bolt locarion and do you still use a stock fuel pressure regulator boosted?

we had tapped right there for the nos wet kit and with one adapter fitting it worked perfectly.
the stock fpr is used while boosted as from my understanding you can utilize tuning the ecu to adjust the fuel pressure, and the fact that its running rich as hades right now i believe goes to support this. i might be mistaken, but i believe the vacuum pretty much regulates the fuel pressure when it is not an adjustable fpr.

thanks man, ill keep everyone posted.
i installed the turboxs rfl bov today and holy cow does it make me wet between the loins. does anyone know how adjusting works? if you screw it more out does it produce a louder sound or when its all the way down is it as loud as it gets? i took a trip around the block and pissed off the neighbors.

well i know when we changed the blowoff valve on my friends evo we couldnt open it to much otherwise it would leak under high boost....so dont open it to much for more sound.
So, after much waiting and wanting to be able to really drive my car like it deserves to be driven, i got my tune done today at RTC. We encountered some issues of high boost(16 psi) which ended up being caused by the air intake tube choking the vacuum line that goes to the wastegate actuator and in essence being a boost controller by choking the line. That was straightened out, a 2 bar map sensor was installed, and tuning was done.
A/F is pretty safe, and never really drops below about 11.4, so it could still be leaned out a little and some more power could be squeezed out.
12 psi at about 5400 which drops down to about 11 psi at 6400 rpm with the rev limiter set at 7000 rpms.
This was done on a dynodynamics dyno which reads about 13% lower than a dynojet, so the estimated sae corrected numbers are 244 hp@6000 rpms and 239 ft/lb tq@5300 rpms. The dyno itself read a max of 216 hp and 207 tq as well, but as corrected, it is the 244/239(i like the bigger numbers)
here are some more pics
here is a video of one pull(it was loud as hades in there) which was at 209.1 hp, so it was not the final pull, but you get the idea.
overall, im pretty happy with the numbers and as soon as i get a set of 15's and slicks, ill take it to the track and beat on it. Until then, ill get some in car videos as time dictates that being possible.
