get a new muffler
i JUST cut my muffler off yesterday and sold it today for $20 to some chick(same price i bought it for four YEARS ago )
i plan on trying to hit up the junkyard real soon and get a stock one from a car that has 2.25" inlet and a smaller outlet (need SOME kind of backpressure )

i'm looking for a stock muffler w/ bigger piping, for example, in school we have a chrysler stratus as a school car, when i went to check out the muffler, it actually had about a 2.25"ish inlet and a tad bit smaller outlet... that's what i'm aiming for

haha the silencers usually have more backpressure than stock, and still aren't as quiet. Dude get an old flowmaster 40 on ebay, they are the stock mufflers on mustangs firebirds and i think transams, flowmasters direct sound away from the car cabin and aren't to loud unless you REALLy open up. If a stock mustand or firebird isn't that loud driving normally it should be a lot less with our cars. Just my .o2, I got the new 44 series for mine but still...Originally posted by JohnD1079Comment
