I just read through your whole members ride, and i gotta say, i like what you have done. One question though, if your final plan is to get a h23, why didnt you just get one instead of the f22b. They are really identical motors.

i appreciate the compliment
H23 wasn't really my FINAL plan, i really wanted the JDM F22B but by then, i thought i was gonna find an H23 much quicker... turns out i actually found the JDM F22B w/ tranny faster/cheaper

so did you get the chipped ecu going finally? I know you said something about figuring out what the deal was and getting it to run soon. If you do I might like to give mine a shot again here soon, pref with a map from d211crzy on chrome like you have.

what i ended up doin was copying all the fuel/ignition tables, vacuum, and rpm readings over from a map made with Uber 1.7 repack to a new map on Uber 1.66 and it worked pretty good... the car would kinda "hiccup" on take off so i compared the map to a known running map and noticed some of the fuel tables were on the lower rpms/higher vac readings were too low, so i matched/evened 'em out but i haven't tried it since it's been modified probably later this week

so much for blocking off the IACV the car would barely idle(about 250rpms, lol)
any ideas on what to do to take care of the cold starts?
