2 weekends ago was nice, so I decided to start the wire tuck and it went pretty well. I went with the CPmike method. Almost done, just have to route a set of wires that cross over from the driverside to the passenger side. Here are some pics of the progress:

As I started finishing up the wire tuck this weekend, I saw how dirty and nasty the engine bay paint had gotten so I started to sand it, primed
it and ended up repainting it. I used alot of clearcoat on it:







And you asked so here is a pic of peeks:


This weekend I start repainting the passanger side.

I'll post some more pics when I'm done painting.

WOW! Carlos. The manifold looks great. The picture seems to show you have good clearance for the turbo. Can you tell whether there is enough clearance for a GT40R? As you know I am not a/c compatible. I plan on upgrading in about a year to be compatible.

Everything is looking nice on your car. Keep up all the motivational work. Buy the way is that the same turbo?

lookin good... the only complaint i had about my manifold was the fact the water neck points right at the turbo inlet. makes it difficult to use a filter...i ended up cutting mine in half and angling it down and rewelding it.

kamaccord, couldn't tell ya if there is enough clearance for a gt40. I'm sure there is but I'm still using the sc61.

oneoffaccord, thank you sir and goodluck with your wire tuck, Almost there just trying to get rid of the big black box(egr vavle\pump\whatever and oem map) and the charcoal canister.

PR CB7, my rims size is 18x7.5 and i am running Yokohama Parada Spec2 215/35/18. I don't remember the offset.

Well for the passenger side, I decided to try my had at a bit of shaving. Didn't bother with it to much cause I need to get 2 holes fixed from when I installed a cold air intake and a big gapping hole next to the trans mount:







That was alot of fn sanding.


Almost done just a few wires need to be rerun:








finally, the vin tag, after having this thing sitting in my desk drawer for years, I finally installed it:


Just need to repolish my block and waiting on some more stainless steel lines for a lil somethin somethin and I'll slap on the manifold so stay tuned.

shawn.hayden, it makes a difference man. I just had to much damaged paint from an accident I had back in '95. It was getting on my nerves so i had to paint it.

Had an accident bout a month ago that needed that exact side of my car rebuilt (engine bay). those pictures just reminded me of my accident. LMK when u finally have this beast running
