Love the ride kid! About your shifter, though. I think it would look better if you were to cut down the shifter tubing with a pipe cutter and then put your shifter on. check out my page and you'll see what I am talking about.

If imitation is the best form of flattery............thanks for kissing my ass.

Nice pics once again. Having no lip flows really well with the stocks sideskirts and I do like the no lip lowerd look. Did you paint the back bumper lip yourself? Looks real good, gives your car a lower look in the back.

        sweet as hell man

just curious, it seems as if (and please correct me if I'm wrong) your front camber is corrected if not completely, then by a few degrees. Did you go in on a camber kit? And if so, which kit? Just curious, as I'm about to go in on a set of new rims and want to make sure these set of tires last

el, the drop is sick! i know you've always desired the hammered look. how do the new coilovers ride/handle? as for the front end, i would recommend the 92/93 stock lip at least.

BTW, what happened to your lip? (the 94-95)
car was towed a couple of weeks ago which loosened it... flat tire the next week, riding on a spare, hit something large on the freeway at night... yet another lip gone.

cutting a shifter on an automatic car doesn't lend to any increased performance, and is more of a hassle than anything in my opinion. i appreciate the suggestion though. btw, there probably isn't a member's ride page that i haven't seen!

back bumper is an oem replacement after an accident in 2000. came that way. and the car is lower in the back then the front!

i'm anti camber kit. to me, it seems to be more hassle and problems (control arm issues) without a benefit in performance to rock a camber kit then to not rock one.

plus, my hope is to get yet another set of wheels... but the prerequisite is they have to be wider then my current wheels, and have just as much lip, if not more. the only way to rock wider wheels (at least those considered wide by our standards) is to run negative camber.

a good description from a guy i trust about camber:

So to put it simply, if you hold the wheel perfectly upright and straight, it is very easy to push back and forth. Now imagine tilting the top edge a few degrees over to one side (negative camber), you will still be able to roll it back and forth pretty easily. Now, with the wheel still tilted along the vertical axis, move one hand a little bit in front of the other, so that you tilt it on the horizontal axis, and try to roll it. The difficulty you experience is the effect of toe (either in or out). So imagine your car basically having to drag your tire along.. that's the true killer of tires.

i really like the coilovers. i haven't commented on them much, because i want to take it to the canyons here to be able to compare it against my koni yellow/neuspeed set up. that's the barometer test for me. but i have to wait until i get new brakes which may be in a month or so. for now, i'm happy with them, feel they handle well, and don't have any complaints about them.

as far as a lip, maybe i'll pick up something, but i work so much i don't have the time or desire to do it myself.
