Glad to see someones like me. Although I do have 1 or 2 washers in the rear.. just nothing up front.

My only problem with it is i keep knocking it out of alignment either by changing something or breaking something(last time it was the axle vibrating that knocked it out of alignment). I hopefully can score at one of the shops and get it done there for free doing it myself. That way I wont have to worry about it anymore.

          you guys.. so bad...

haha. yea i looked at your page, dr.LKD, joeys and brain's (BURR) members ride pages to see what brand camber kit you were running since we have similar suspension. i recently blew out a tire while doing about 40mph. messed up a steelie but the suspension was fine, i have over 2* of neg. camber in the front with almost none in the rear. while my tires were shit tires it still scared me enough to go out and research all over and actually purcahse a camber kit. got some cajones to roll like that year round on some clean rims.

your coupe is an inspiration elliot....

oh man the coupe looks so hot bro

I originally thought that you just lowered the yellows to the lowest notch, but the omnis officially bring your ride to slammed status

love it I'm also part of the no camber kit crew, I just don't trust them...and from what I hear toe is what eats through a tires quicker than camber...so as long as you get an allignment and rotate the tires often, you shouldn't be exceptionally bad with wear

I'm just curious though, how would you compare the omnis to the konis? (considering omnis have fixed dampening/rebound)

Yeah, thats what kills them. Of course, every time I get an alignment, I knock it out of whack somehow. So after driving about 8k on my tires with bad toe, they are getting low on the insides. Time to swap them to the other side. And i'll probably align it one final time so i can get them to last another 10k at least.

I did a DIY camber check, and I got somewhere between 3 and 5 degrees in the front I raised up the drivers side a little cuz it was a tiny bit lower, but I am sure I still have over 3.

i figure it's going to have negative camber any way, and i don't like most of what i've heard about camber kits... add to that i want to push my wheels out just a bit more, and to do that, you have to run negative camber.

                  thanks.

omni's versus koni's... idk, i haven't really pushed this new set up yet, at least not as much as i would have liked to. hopefully i'll get a chance to take it to the canyons at some point and really be able to give a report. but so far they're good- they're exteremely stiff, a little more "bouncy" then the konis (which i attribute to the stiffness).

having pushed it on some of the curved off ramps here, my tires don't squeal as much at similar speeds as they did with the konis. whether or not that's attributable to the suspension, or my learning to navigate those off ramps, i'm not sure.

as you know, the koni is a shortened shock.. and the omnipower coilover at its shortest/lowest is significantly shorter than the koni!

in the end, i'm extremely happy with both set ups. when i had the neuspeed/koni set up, i didn't want to be extremely low, i was looking for a good medium between not being too low, and good handling. now i want to be slammed, and i still have good handling. again, hopefully i'll take my car to the canyons and really get to know the set up.

Love the car as always...but I don't know if I like your drop as much anymore...it just seems too low for me. But as long as you like it, that's all that matters.
