Hey everyone, this is my baby. This is my first car seeing as I'm only 16, and I'm new to the whole racing scene. I've learned alot about cars, especially Accords, through the internet and started modding mine. Anyways heres my CB7. It's automatic, which kind of sucks, but I'm happy with it.

not a bad plan you got goin... at least you have the system bumpin already. you should just get a cheap set of springs, it would make a huge difference cosmetically.

and i for one, vouch for the apexi ws. whatever you do, do not get a straight through exhaust. those types kill the lowend torqu with automatics. before i swapped my transmission, i had stock piping with a welded dual canister muffler. i didnt realize how bad it was for lowend acceleration until i put on my apex exhaust. and of course, its quiet, which i love.

Well, it's a CB7 so it's obviously a good starting point. Yeah, like DrLove'sKuDang said, you definitely need a drop. Hope to see the progress on your Accord later on. Good luck.

nice car but that wheel gap is killing me lol. Any future plans for the exterior? And are you gonna take some engine bay cleaner under the hood after you get your intake, headers, and exhaust in?

Yea the wheel gap kills me too. But it's going to have to stay for a while until after I get my I/H/E bought and put on. Then I'll buy some lowering springs and shocks/struts. I've been wanting to clean under my hood for a while now, but I'm going to wait until summer. By that time I'll have my I/H/E hopefully. My friends and I took off my grill today to replace it with black mesh. Right now the paint is drying and we are going to put it on later tonight. When I get pics of it, I'll post them up.

A couple of friends and I made a custom black mesh grill for my car and put it on. It was nothing to hard and turned out great. Here are some pics:







Still working towards my Apexi WS catback exhaust. I was thinking maybe my dad and I could put it on. Has anyone who has put one on had any trouble with the installation? Any tips or problems to look out for?

Well I never thought I would see an engine bay worse than mine...good luck on all the plans, and try to clean up that engine some day. It'll look good once you drop it. Theres a review or diy on the apex ws exhaust somewhere on here, just search and you'll find, and its not that hard to install, ya'll should have no problem installing, plus it looks really good, and sounds decent too.

GREAT EXHAUST.

my dad and i installed this exhaust system. we installed it when the car was up on a lift at a local shop - that made it a little more easier to install. i don't think you'll have many problems though. do you have access to a lift? if not, you can always perform the installation with the car up on jackstands. basically it's really just a lot of bolt turning. the hardest part might be breaking some of those old, rusted bolts off of your stock catback system. i would suggest putting some liquid wrench solution on each bolt the night before you uninstall it. it's pretty easy from there (once you have the old exhaust off). hanger hooks are already welded on the system and you get all of your gaskets included with the catback kit. you basically just start bolting up the pipes in the correct order starting with the piping closest to the catalytic converter, and working your way toward the muffler. i would ALSO suggest to check your rubber hangers... for your exhaust... make sure that they're still in good condition and not torn or anything. AND put some wd40 on the rubber hangers (in and around the holes in them) when you go to fit the hooks welded onto the piping into them. it makes the hooks slide in much easier.

Yesterday, I ordered my Apexi WS cat-back from Nopi Online. It was $406 for the exhaust itself and $25 for shipping and handling, making the total cost $431. I'm really glad that I ordered it yesterday instead of today because, low and behold, prices went up and the same exhaust now costs $435. Looking forward to getting that in around Monday or Tuesday of next week. Can't wait.

Not too shabby. I am planning on having my boy order me the Apexi WS exhaust sometime this week. I hope I am pleased with it with the H22A engine.. heh
