i actually got lucky with that one. i had the older model, but my car was broken into and they took it. the insurance company wouldnt give me money for it, instead they send me a new one. and since my model was no longer made, they sent me the most similar thing, which was the newer(and more expensive) model.
i got it done from this place called miracle auto, which is kinda like a fancy maaco.
but i took it by rz and everyone was pretty impressed with the quality, considering what i paid. which was $670 with tax. took 3 days to complete and i am very happy with it. i wont be winning any car shows, but thats not my purpose anyways, so its ok. the paint they used was called ultrathane which is some type of an acrylic urethane. i didnt know much about the materials, i just knew what color i wanted.
Sweet. I love the color on it man. I guess you didn't have to have any body work along with that sinse you live in Cali, no rust or anything. Haha you were saying it cept raining? You live in Northern Cali or something cause I lived in Irvine, CA (Orange County) for 3 years and I bet I could count on my 2 hands how many times it rained in those three years. None the less, great car man, hopefully I can get mine to look as good as that some day
i like the blacked out bumpers cause its the same thing i wanna do eventually. I would also like a 1/4 mile time slip or somethin, but ur whp is great and pulling a 13 a/f ratio across the board was damn near incredible...i don't even wanna talk about how flat that torque curve was I'm hoping to run 13's across the board also when my setup is put in. Great job and my favorite part of the car has to be his interior setup lol...NOTHING...just the way i like it

i live in the bay area. during the winter it rains alot, but thats it. i actually did have some body work that neeed to be done, but i opted to not do it. just some small dings here and there. but i dont care that much, like i said... im not going for show quality, so screw it.

haha, thanks for the compliments, and its about damn time someone recognizes how much work ive put into my interior its hard work leaving it stock when theres so much out there to do to it. but if i ever did anything, it would be to replace everything. i would like black or dark blue. but since its not as easy as just getting some seat covers, ive decided to leave it that ugly stock red/burgundy. the next free money i have will be put into my future mods. i can live without black carpet... and it sure as hell wont help my et's.
i got the same interior man...trust me i DO feel your pain lol. We've got 2 options: dye everything or tint the windows lol. I'm bone stock on the interior also besides some little racing pedals and the only reason i bought those was because the stock rubber things came off the pedals. It was raining one day and the bottom of my shoe was wet and sure enough my foot slipped right off brake pedal and i almost slammed into the car in front of me.

yea, same shit is happening to me. they were swpped pedals and the clutch is getting bad. on the edges its down the metal. im hoping to find rubber replacements, cause i really dont want to go the razo pedal route.
well i finally got around to taking some pics after i got the wheels on. and it actually stopped raining long enough to make washing it worthwhile.
and what do yall think about the jdm headlights with my car? would it look good with the color i have? im unsure if i want to do that or keep the black heads.

I'll start off by saying you do have a nice car with a lot of power to back it up. About the headlights, I used to have projectors in my car and I didn't want to get rid of them because they looked pretty cool, but when I put my JDM headlights in, I was in for a world of change. The headlights are one thing I would not change on the car so I would highly recommend you getting them. I can say you won't be disappointed!

was it a big difference in light output as well or did they just look better?
right now with the black heads, it looks real clean... but im worried about having a grey car and clearish heads looking kinda bland and dull.
btw, how is the light output? can they be adjusted to accomodate the fact that we drive on the right side? the beam pattern is different right?
