Nice that mishimoto radiator will treat you well. Its cheap and works damn well for what you pay for. My friend ran it on his boosted setup before he sold his accord. I think gdout has his mishimoto radiator now i dont remember.

i like the radiator alot, it works very well...
also removed DP. and oil pan tonight, and installed a windage tray from a H22. gave me a chance to clean out the oil pan and refill with 10w-40 royal purple XPR oil.... $80 oil change...ouch.

hey when you switched your rad to the mishimoto half rad what did you do to the lower coolant hose? I read that the stock outlet is 38mm and the civic stock outlet is 32.

same hose just put on tighter?

to answer previous questions, the Mishimoto rad uses the same size hose as the accord, where the facto civic rad uses smaller ports (use the accord hose and a worm type hoseclamp, works fine, receives my 500whp seal of approval) mishimoto rad ftw imho, works great!


the exhaust is 100% custom, all pipe i got at napa, all mandrel bends. 4" downpipe, 3" system, 2 glasspacks as resonators, with a Borla XR-1 muffler at the end.


FINNALY got a H22 p/s pump and bracket! ive had to use an ugly ass F pump and bracket, till i found this one. i took the cut H22 S bend from shantsy's jdm H swap and cut the metal pipe off right where it meets the coupler for the rubber hose, and cut the F bent pipe off my p/s hose, and TIG welded the H pipe to the F hose, works great, didnt have to buy a prelude hose.

also cleaned up some wiring while i was in the area, tucked my alt. wiring next to the motor and under the p/s pump, much cleaner looking.

I wouldnt think you would of rocked p.s. on this beast just in case you got massive torque steer.

How (if you have one) is your blow by/oil catch can set up?

and what does NO SPC mean?

^^^ only 4" DP on a CB right there!

cleaned up all the wiring on the left side of the engine bay, and tucked it all out of the way, and re routed the alternator wiring so its out of sight. gotta find a better spot for my ballasts now.
also note the civ/teg hood prop rod. best 10 min mod ive done in a long ass time.
