      But go back to the 8's. The strap on those look like they were running cooler.

      But this cutting out issues...hmm.

            the 6a was out for a while now. before trying this internal coil, i was on just the msd coil alone, and it still broke up

                    and im considering a headwap VERY soon. Prolly going back to F22ax or my f20 head, depending on funds

                      Why are you wanting to headswap? Is it due to the vtec, or because of the head design?

                        from my research his head is actually a verry well designed sucker... I by no means would just do a head swap thinking it'll up the power instantly... I personally feel the cams you have would work better stock than what you have. "but thats just me"

                          That head has been milled quite a bit and he doesn't know his compression ratio due to that. I'm sure he's above 9.0 but under 9.5.

                          Either way, there are no quench areas, which leave a higher window for detonation and much higher cylinder temps than desired if detonation doesn't occur.

                          Even his tuner said something about the head design being weird.

                            plus the head has been milled to fit that cam, putting a stock cam back in may not fit right now.
