My logic is that since this white project is my first engine build, I wanted to do it NA to learn how to improve an engine without "cheating" as I would say. It is easy to make forced induction power or even with nitrous. If you can first learn the NA concepts and make improvement, you add forced induction and/or nitrous to this same equation and you have someone that can make more power than someone that does not know this and simply slaps a turbo/supercharger/nitrous on.
Later in life, I would like to get a RWD import of some kind (Acura NSX/supercharged or Mazda RX-7/single turbo as of now) and go forced induction for a more powerful build with the RWD fun factor. If I went NA RWD project, it would probably be a 67-69 Camaro, the only domestic I would consider as of now.

yea i understand. Forced induction is a different world than NA, and it was just more convienent for me. I mean with all the money people spend on NA projects, a force inducted car can put out more power for the same price. I feel that my car is heavy, so more power and less money was an easier choice for me; rather than a unique NA setup with less power and a shit load of weight reduction.
I completely respect both NA and FI projects, its just picking the one that is right for you
...and if i hit my goals of 425-440, i'll be happy.
