Well, the tires are still hitting the bumper on full lock turns, looks like Im going to have to change plans a bit.
- go with a smaller tire/full slick
- higher offset wheel with the same tire
- ditch the fender flares all together and throw a DR on a 95 EX wheel
i might be able to add some caster to push the wheel farther to the rear, but I'm not sure how thats going to throw off my alignment and traction.
I haven't had time to take pics of anything to be honest.

Positive caster will allow you to keep the car straighter at high speeds from what I hear. I dont think caster will effect traction like toe and camber do.
From what I hear you want a tad neg camber and a tad bit toe in on a drag application. or you can jack up the car a little bit (to simulate acceleration) and then zero out your camber at that point.
If I change my caster, I'll have to go closer to 0 or negative

For a straight line, caster shouldn't have any effect. Caster affects your camber curve.
For example, if you have 0 caster and 2 degrees of camber, when you turn the wheel or have it straight, your camber will always be 2 degrees. If you have 4 degrees of caster and 2 degrees static camber, then when you turn the wheel, camber might increase to 3, then 4, then 5 degrees.
This is how race cars tune their alignment for all situations. Also, if the hellaflush guys were smart, they would have a shit-ton of caster, because then it gives a jacking effect when you turn, lifting the wheel, giving more clearance. If you see race cars with wheels that don't seem to clear, and you think, its a race car, how's it turn? Its probably because of caster.
So yes, positive caster might help you out. Negative caster is never something you want though. Unfortunately the CB doesn't have a ton of adjustability for caster, you'd need custom knuckles and some other parts for that....
Be aware though, increasing caster and scrub is going to increase your steering effort significantly, so that's something to think about if you don't have power steering.Last edited by mndude07; 07-20-2010, 10:33 AM.There are no black and white suspension answers!!!!!!!!!!!

Took her out for a test drive to see if there is any rubbing.
There is a slight rub at full lock, but its doable at this point
The car is so damn stiff, clutch is so hard, rattles galore, and shakes a little while driving...
selling it is seeming like a better option, but I know no one would want it in its current state. Sigh. Debating on cranking the boost back to 19 till she blows

Of course the Z is spoiling me Its nice for a change to have a total package IMO.
But you guys are right, these are features and qualities of a race inspired car. I think I will ease back into the Accord once the weather gets cooler and I get the exterior pieces painted.
Maybe I'll be inspired to finish up the FMIC piping and retune with the new throttle body.
