lol thanks Ronald...I actually had to ditch the lip this weekend. I even went down to a smaller 96-97 lip, but it still bottomed out way too much. Go me a few new cracks because of it

Oh well, the car still looks great with the new stance, it really motivated me after these years of having wheels that didnt match my car.

Congrats on fixing the stripped coilover. That stance is what they're meant for.

I'm just curious about what you had to do to fix them?

lol i just realized i bought them from you, didnt recognize the sig.

i used some wd40 and took the spring and bottom off the assembly, so i just had a bare shock with the threading. the top 2 collars were stripped and almost jumped a whole thread. Luckily, putting it on a vise and holding the coil wrench with one hand, and hammering the perch to turn it worked for the top. That one busted lose and came off easily by hand for the rest of the threading.
The bottom perch was stripped worse though, and I needed a friend to hold the coil wrench on the collar while I hit it with a hammer. Each hit woudl turn it about 30-45 degrees, so it took us about 30 minutes to hammer it all the way up the shock body lol.

the shock body was fine, no stripped threads. The collars were pretty beat but i saved them with a wire brush and drill. everything went back on smoothly by hand upon reassembly

I originally thought the sleeves themselves had damaged threads, but good thing only the collars were cross threaded. I'm sure you could contact omnipower and get new collars to make the setup perfect.

Ever since those coilovers I refuse to buy any used suspension parts unless I know the owner or the installer does good work. I still don't get how the original owner cross threaded it.

me either, but the collars go on like brand new now. Im not worried about them stripping again
