Did you make sure there were no open oil/coolant ports leading to the head from the block?

From what I've heard, you gota block some oil passages when setting an f22a head onto the b1 block.

That is what I originally thought before I put in the B1....
when looking at the B1 black and the F22a block that I pulled the head from, the blocks were identical. I saw no extra oil ports at all.

found a leak though, minor coolant leak. I just ignored it while I broke in the cam at 2K rpm for 10-15 min

need to stop at honda and pick up a o ring for the hard water pipe on the back of the therm housing....thats gonna be a fun/messy job.

After that i'll set the timing and hope my old map is decent, if not, any got a f22 basmap for S300?

what a relief, I just did the clutch on my car, by myself with only hand tools and a couple floor jacks in a stone driveway. I imagine it feels so rewarding to have it back. I pray that my shit has the same success when i finish re-installing the knuckles this weekend (had to re-do lower ball joints too)
