nice look man another car with the a skyline conversion i think i have seen like at least 5 accords all cb7s wit the R33 tail lights and like 2 or 3 with the R34s

i like it oh yea if u dont mind were did u get the lights (trust me i dont want to do the conversion just curious)

and the orange wit black top its on the canadian civic on the HCI (hot compact & imports) issue from jan 2004

its a hot look if people ask be like oh yea its ninja orange thats wut the guy said in the magazine

Thanks for the info, thats what I wanted to know...Im also glad to know what yours is flush (well sorta except for the roll) because as far as I know theres not another cb7 with that gas lid like ours and recessed into the body like Im gonna do. But no-the-less your car still looks soo sweet, I thought about doing a r-34 taillight conversion but I dont wanna pay $800 and dont have the time right now...not to mention I want my car painted already!

excalibur02 - I got the lights used from a guy on ebay in Japan. I believe he was in the military and stationed over there. He had like 15 pairs available. Yeah, there was also a S14.5 awhile back on the cover of HCI that had the same color scheme. The owner is a member of a club that's local to south Florida. I remember it, because it was the first car I saw with my paint combo since my ride went into the shop. It was at HIN in Orlando 2002. It's beautiful in person. Thanks for the support!


akkordlayinkit - No problem man. I was thinking about R34's as well, but didn't get them for 2 reasons:

1 - The R34 tail light assembly is huge and I don't think it would look right on the slim rear of our 4th gens.

2 - They were too damn expensive anyway!

But, I feel you on getting your ride done already. Have faith, patience will pay off in the end.

Damn, I guess I was wrong. That rear end looks nice. Do you have any pics of a 4th gen with the R34 GTR tails? The one above has the tails from an R34 sedan.

Those 34 tails look sweet on our 4th gens, but I think that your rear is gonna look as good if not better than that pic posted by excalibur02with your combo of tails + bumper. The 34's do look kinda big, like you said, but if he had the gtr 34 tails it would look a little better.

excalibur02 - Hmm, I kinda like the R34 sedan lights on the other Accord. The separate light strip makes a difference. Then again, maybe it's because the one with the GTR tails is under construction.


xplode - Thanks! If you plan on getting a kit, then I recommend the 19's. But if you're not, then 18's will be just fine.
