I dissasembled, cleaned and assembled the valve train assembly today. Looks pretty
I got some good snap ring pliers now. Removed those *** things, and got the balljoints about half way out before this interfered.
The fucking lip of the inside of the bearing.
I'll find a way to get it out. pos.
still waiting on my bearings tho.

Find a longer bolt with the same thread pitch as the ones you took out (a spare/old rear shock mounting bolt works perfectly).
Hand tighten it into one of the holes (It is ideal to have 4 bolts)
Hammer away on it until you see a bit of movement.
Hammer next bolt (cris-cross pattern)
Repeat procedure until bearing is far enough out of hub to clear LBJ.
To move it back, replace the original 12 pt, 10 mm bolts and tighten in cris-cross pattern all the way around until bearing is once again seated in hub.Gary A.K.A. Carter

yeah that part is a fucking bitch and even more so if its on the car. What I did was grind away part of the old balljoint and then spin it around. and the new one the same grind a bit away so she slip right in

Nah, I don't really care about the pistons top. They're going to get dirty again.
That's actually clean. You should have seen them before I cleaned them.

Finished installing the balljoints. Thanks G-Man! I just used loosened those bolts and hammered on them a enough to clear, shit popped right off! The new ball joints went in easy, without being frozen.
I also installed the front end links. Gona go install the poly bushed lca's right now. Maybe even the brake lines.
