That's not Honda OEM, that's Chevy Astro OEM, so I have confidence in it. That thing is solid.
Anyways, it was kind of a bitch getting it in there without having pressure on the control arms, but I got it in.

Cleaned pistons up and installed piston rings today.
Gona install the pistons in the block tomorrow hopefully. My friend that builds engines on the regular is coming over to watch over me, as well as bring his ring compressor.
Also hoping to install the bearings and do most of the engine assembly tomorrow. We'll see how things go.
Installed the fuel filter as well. Then I went ahead and PB blasted the hell out of the ball joints for easy removal. I bought a snap ring remover, but I think it's too small. When I tried taking them off, it wouldn't open them up enough to slide over the ball joint. Gonna go around and see if I can find a bigger one.Last edited by d112crzy; 02-20-2008, 09:48 PM.
