Ronald_Type R - overall, the best plug -n- play HID kit available for H4 applications; OEM quality and the 4300k bulb has great output. it slightly reduces the typical RHD glare from the JDM headlights which no other aftermarket HID kit does unless you convert to an OEM projector retrofit.

DhN - i highly recommend this setup if you're considering HIDs; its available for 9006 and H4 applications.
and the car is staying with me since the sale fell thru a couple months ago.
just need to find a reputable bodyshop now to get some work done.

the price of this kit is worth the $$$. plus, if you ever decide to do an OEM projector retrofit, this kit plugs right up.

nah, just wanna fix up the bumpers.. more like replace them. i had something custom in mind, but the bodyshop who did the tails and healights no longer deal w/ custom work. they make more money dealing w/ insurance cases and because their best fabricator/bodyman no longer works there. so when i have time, i'll look into several shops who has dealt with custom fabrication.

I had forgotten how neat this car is. For a car with this much custom work I would have thought there would have been flaws somewhere but I could only find one...then he went HID and went flawless! Very nice car and good choice on the HID ballasts and burners.
I see the pics of the HID in the garage but was wondering if you could take some on a wall from farther away say 15-20 feet? I am interested to see how the rebase's beam pattern is.

                          nice
although the creeking noises here and there is definetely showing age, but still a fun car to drive.
btw, took your advice on polishing the headlights

                          *UPDATE*
spent my morning by repainting the front bumper.. thats right, i did it myself
i went to a local auto-body supplies store and ordered my custom paint in two 11oz. aerosol cans. i didn't do anything special to fix chip marks all over the bumper, and didn't bother grinding down the polyurethane glue i used to fix the kit from 2-3 months ago. i just sprayed primer after sanding out the old paint and the outcome was so much more than i expected; doesn't seem like a typical spray can finish. all thats left is to buff/polish the bumper and its done.

                          *BEFORE*

*its an old pic, but it looked worse

                          *AFTER*

and adam, thanx for the info coz when i get the chance next week to finish the front bumper, i'll start repairing the rear bumper exactly how you told me to.

^^^ you read my mind. there is a fellow member on here right now in the midst of selling his wheels to buy my wheels. if that happens, believe me, i'm coming for those 19s if they're still available.
